Eddie Kendricks, was an American tenor singer and songwriter. Noted for his distinctive falsetto singing style, Kendricks co-founded the Motown singing group the Temptations, and was one of their lead singers from 1960 until 1971. He was the lead voice on such famous songs as "The Way You Do the Things You Do", "Get Ready", and "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)". As a solo artist, Kendricks recorded several hits of his own during the 1970s, including the number-one single "Keep On Truckin'".

Little Richard was a cultural icon but what do we really know about him, and what have we forgotten? Did you know Little Richards spent about $1,000 a day on the pipe leave alone his wild parties. Richard struggled with his sexuality throughout his life, sometimes he claimed to be **** or omnisexual. Despite Richard being ****, he also loved women and even got married. As a musician, Little Richard rarely held back. Richard captivated crowds with his percussive piano style and preacher's swagger, loads of pancake makeup with his pencil-thin mustache and serious pompadour hairstyle.

Rockness Monsta - Ether Rocks: https://fatbeats.lnk.to/ether-rocks

Since making his mark in the ‘90s through the early aughts as a part of the legendary Boot Camp Clik and one-half of “Da Incredible Rap Team” and the duo Heltah Skeltah, Rock (also known as the Rockness Monsta) has been conservative with solo efforts. With one of the most distinct voices in Hip-Hop, the Brooklyn emcee released his full-length debut solo album Rockness AP in 2017 and now looks to step back into the spotlight with his sop****re album, Ether Rocks.

Produced entirely by Harlem, New York’s Ron Browz (Nas’s “Ether”, Jim Jones’s “Pop Champagne”, etc.), the project sees Rock’s ominous tone and sharp flow transposed from the traditional Boom-Bap beats of Da Beatminerz and others, into a sonic backdrop that retains grit yet bolsters an updated and more sophisticated style from the legendary emcee.

Lyrics:

[Intro: J. Cole]
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh, oh, woah
Woah, woah
Oh
(You good, T-Minus?)
Oh

[Chorus: Travis Scott]
Meet me at The London
If you find time, we can run one
Talk about some things we can't undo
You just send the pin, I can find you
6'1", on the money, 9'2"
You just say the word and I’ll run through
Two texts, no reply, that’s when I knew
I knew, I knew, yeah, I knew

[Verse 1: J. Cole]
Yeah, circumnavigate the globe as the cash grows (Grow)
Get a nigga whacked like you get the grass mowed (Mowed)
I'm talkin' slick when I'm with the Big Slime, nigga (Slime)
Could hit your bitch, you could never hit mine, nigga (Mine)
In my DM, they electric slide, nigga (Huh, slide)
No catfishin', this is not a fish fry, nigga
Never switch sides on my dog
Catch a contact, hitch a ride, go to Mars
Everybody sing
How could you come up out your face
And say I ain't the hardest nigga you done ever heard?
I left a flock of rappers dead and buried
A verse from me is like 11 birds
Just did the math, that's like two thousand dollars every word
I'm on the verge, I'll beat the charge
I killed some niggas and I walked away from it
Then I observe, just how you curve
Then told the nigga that they gotta wait for it
"I know—I know you in high demand"
I'm ballin' on a pussy nigga like Juwanna Mann
I'm drownin' all inside the pussy like I never swam
Ayy, fuck your IG, I put somethin' on your sonogram
I'm the man, ayy, ayy

[Chorus: Travis Scott]
Me-meet me at The London
If you find time, we can run one
Talk about some things we can't undo
You just send the pin, I can find you
6'1", on the money, 9'2"
You just say the word and I’ll run through
Two texts, no reply, that’s when I knew
I knew, I knew, yeah, I knew

[Verse 2: Young Thug]
Pimp talk, church talk, I can make a brick walk (Woo)
Up north, down south, Bankhead to Rachel Walk (Ayy)
Hit it with a little water, stretch it like a vocal cord
STD, I run my ward, fuck a fed and his daughter (Let's go)
I'ma run the compound (Yeah)
I supply the cigarettes and bread (Woo)
I got a main and she gon' ride (Uh)
She took a quarter and she fled (Uh)
I'm in the Lamb, so she gon' ride (Yeah)
I see the pain in shawty's light brown eyes (Ooh)
I'm at The London with some big thots
No fries, she eat steaks with the fish sides
Did your mama tell you when something on fire
Stop, drop and roll? (Aw yeah)
I've been on the road like a pair of spinners at Stop-N-Go's (Yeah)
I could charge 'em like a Dodge Hemi Demon
Got your broad in the garage eatin' semen
Every time a nigga go back to the ward
Niggas act like they want start
And we leave them on the cement (Grra, grra)

[Chorus: Travis Scott]
Me-meet me at The London
If you find time, we can run one
Talk about some things we can't undo
You just send the pin, I can find you
6'1", on the money, 9'2"
You just say the word and I’ll run through
Two texts, no reply, that’s when I knew
I knew, I knew, yeah, I knew

[Outro: Travis Scott]
I, crash down, we get money (Hey)
For the full town (Woah, when you won't play, I)
I decided, for the full side (Hoes will say)
And they know, I might (And fly, I...)
Get down, might (Don't play)
See the whole town every time, I... (Oh, every day)
Yeah, they know what's up (Folks will say)

The early 90s was a boom time for getting rich off Alternative Rock. Due to the breakout commercial success of REM, Nirvana and Green Day, major labels grabbed any band that could approximate their sounds in the hopes of them becoming the next big thing. If there was one band that felt primed to succeed in this landscape it was Jawbreaker.

Formed in New York before transplanting themselves to California, they blended Husker Du, Psychedelic Furs and The Jesus Lizard, infused with ultra-literate lyrics that spat frustration, dissatisfaction and heartbreak. But when it was their chance to cash-in on the alt rock gold-rush, Jawbreaker lost everything. Not punk and punk in equal measures, this is the story of 24 Hour Revenge Therapy and how Jawbreaker sold out.

The 1970s was a significant decade for Christmas songs. There’s the glam rock monoliths, the novelty songs, songs by singer-songwriters and prog rock artists, disco songs, and even two songs from former Beatles of drastically varying quality. But one 70s associated genre that didn’t make many Christmas songs is punk. But while young scamps the Sex Pistols and Clash were raging on about having no future and a nuclear war, the first notable punk rock Christmas song was written by a band over a decade into their career. This is New Christmas Canon, and this is the story of The Kinks’ “Father Christmas.”

In an epic follow-up from his hugely successful international #1 ‘Where Are You Now’, Lost Frequencies now returns with his next smash ‘Questions’ featuring world-class vocalist James Arthur, with an exclusive visual video.

Hot off the press and already named ‘Trending song’ on the UK Chart show on Hits Radio, support from peers in the industry was instant from names including Sam Feldt and Tiesto, with fans across social media branding the track as “the sound of the summer” and “smash of the season”.

Speaking on the release Lost Frequencies said: “After a massive collab with Calum Scott on ‘Where Are You Now’, I felt like I was in a nice place for my next move! I’ve been working on tons of music the last few months, but when ‘Questions’ came along and I started to work with James Arthur on the vocal, I knew this was going to be the next single! Production-wise, I liked the idea to follow the flow of my previous single, but with a big chord progression before the chorus to give a good feeling in the track, before falling back in a more melancholic mood! Can’t wait to play this one at my live shows and I hope you all love the visuals we have come up with for ‘Questions’!”

Linking up with Lost Frequencies once more with his visceral vision, director Brett de Vos stated: “The video is about someone reflecting on their past relationship, but instead of only remembering the ‘good stuff,’ it also looks at other possible perspectives on what happened and where it ‘went wrong’. This track provides an amazing opportunity to play with memory and perspective and the video becomes a beautiful, visceral and surreal journey through moments that feel sometimes raw and real and at other times quite surreal. Although we play with elements and themes of nostalgia, loss and breaking, the video feels overarchingly positive and optimistic - a sentiment that is currently resonating with so many: especially those living & wanting to live their ‘best lives’. This is a powerful insight & I am excited to share it with so many in such an accessible, beautiful and crazy way.”.

With a stunning beach and sunset environment to set the scene, mirrored images creating a signature look with Lost Frequencies live instrumentation and laid-back vibe, the emotive and bonding visuals take the viewer on a journey of cinematic bliss.
