100% Salsa Remix

Letra:
Pronto llegará el día de mi suerte
Te lo juro por mi gente
Te juro que ese día llegará
And we won't stop
We always knew we'd make it
Even though you player hated
We still made it to the top

Sigo soneando, no va a haber quien me coja

And we won't stop
We always knew we'd make it
Even though you player hated
We still made it to the top

Never been known as a follower
Always a leader
The quarterback of the team
Never the wide receiver
Por mi familia
I do this for the fam
A lot of you out there
Just do it for the gram
Looking for clout
Man that’s not what I’m about
I’m grinding for my future
Don’t wanna hit a drought
We went from hip hop to tic toc
Kinda funny
She got that yummy
But I had to take a step back
Don’t look the same when she not
Up on that face app
Back to the topic
Ain’t nothing you can do to stop it
I got the star in my name for a reason watch it
I got my own swag
But I could feel the hate
As long as they don’t ever try to eat
From my plate
Recognize me I’m the one cocking the auto
Nklabe, E-C canten el coro

Pronto llegará el día de mi suerte
Te lo juro por mi gente
Te juro que ese día llegará
And we won't stop
We always knew we'd make it
Even though you player hated
We still made it to the top

La tierra de Borinquen
donde he nacido yo,
es un jardín florido
de mágico primor

Un cielo siempre nítido
le sirve de dosel
y dan arrullo plácido
las olas a sus pies

/Pronto llegará, el dia de mi suerte/

( Pronto llegará )

Yo te lo juro por mi gente

que mi ritmo diferente

is gonna make it to the top,

we won’t stop

/Pronto llegará, el dia de mi suerte/

Nklabe y Funk Salsa Urban

We keeping it 100

/Pronto llegará, el dia de mi suerte/

Desde puertorro hasta nuevayork, mami

Yo traigo mi sabor

Preguntale a mi gente

LYRICS

If it weren't for your maturity none of this would have happened
If you weren't so wise beyond your years I would've been able to control myself
If it weren't for my attention you wouldn't have been successful and
If it weren't for me you would never have amounted to very much

Ooh this could be messy
But you don't seem to mind
Ooh don't go telling everybody
And overlook this supposed crime

We'll fast forward to a few years later
And no one knows except the both of us
And I have honored your request for silence
And you've washed your hands clean of this

You're essentially an employee and I like you having to depend on me
You're a kind of my protégé and one day you'll say you learned all you know from me
I know you depend on me like a young thing would to a guardian
I know you sexualize me like a young thing would and I think I like it

Ooh this could get messy
But you don't seem to mind
Ooh don't go telling everybody
And overlook this supposed crime

We'll fast forward to a few years later
And no one knows except the both of us
I've more than honored your request for silence
And you've washed your hands clean of this

What part of our history's reinvented and under rug swept?
What part of your memory is selective and tends to forget?
What with this distance it seems so obvious?

Just make sure you don't tell on me especially to members of your family
We best keep this to ourselves and not tell any members of our inner posse
I wish I could tell the world cause you're such a pretty thing when you're done up properly
I might want to marry you one day if you watch that weight and keep your firm body

Ooh this could be messy and
Ooh I don't seem to mind
Ooh don't go telling everybody
And overlook this supposed crime

Lyrics:
A split sense of myself
I feel like somebody else
It’s both heaven and hell
I’m breaking, I’m breaking away

My mind is at war
A battle for my soul
I’m free, but lost you know
There’s no way out, no way to go
I am the hate
I am the fear
I am the voice that you can't hear
I am the end that's always near

H. A. T. E.
Having anger towards everything
H. A. T. E.
Having anger towards everything

My past buried inside
feels like I’m buried alive
I can’t open my eyes
Who am I

I’m drawn and split up in two
But I know which way to go
I will pick up my cross
To save my soul

The anger the rage
The poison the plague
Destroying everything that's pure

I am the hate
I am the fear
I am the voice that you can't hear
I am the end that's always near

H. A. T. E.
Having anger towards everything
H. A. T. E.
Having anger towards everything

You've been a monster
And I can see
You're just an empty shell
A shadow of me

My mind is at war with myself
It feels like somebody else
Those demons I cannot deny
Cause my mind is nothing but hell

The anger the rage
The poison the plague
Destroying everything that's pure

I am the hate
I am the fear
I am the voice that you can't hear
I am the end that's always near

I am the hate
I am the fear
I am the pain that you hold dear
I am the end of all your dreams

H. A. T. E.
Having anger towards everything
H. A. T. E.
Having anger towards everything

Lyrics:
The energy and vibrations infecting
The question and purpose for my existence

Jump in the fire, what do you tame?
Burning the masses, feeling the pain

The greatest teacher lives in your own skin
Applying the knowledge that you feel within

Jump in the fire, what do you tame?
Burning the masses, feeling the pain

I feel I lived a life before
The memories are spoken from a deadly soul
Say no more

I recreate, accumulate, determinate
The passing of the lonely one
Say no more

Don’t be afraid of death while you’re in your bed
You’re just getting out of it and into the next

Jump in the fire, what do you tame?
Burning the masses, feeling the pain

I feel I lived a life before
The memories are spoken from a deadly soul
Say no more

I recreate, accumulate, determinate
The passing of the lonely one
Say no more

Don’t be afraid of death while you’re in your bed
You’re just getting out of it and into the next

Jump in the fire, what do you tame?
Burning the masses, feeling the pain

I feel I lived a life before
The memories are spoken from a deadly soul
Say no more

I recreate, accumulate, determinate
The passing of the lonely one
Say no more

The energy and vibrations infecting
The question and purpose for my existence

Jump in the fire, what do you tame?
Burning the masses, feeling the pain

I feel I lived a life before
The memories are spoken from a deadly soul
Say no more

I recreate, accumulate, determinate
The passing of the lonely one
Say no more

Lyrics:

Yatra, Yatra
Sigue Daddy Yankee, yo'
Jonas!

If you wanna, we can run away
I know you think about it every day
How can I say no to that pretty face?
Baby, we can leave today (Natti, Natti)

Baby, let's
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway now
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway now
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa- (su-sube)
Runaway with you (su-su-sube)

Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway now
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway now (¡fuego!)
Con la luna llena, solos en la arena (you know me, baby)
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa- (sigue Daddy Yankee)
Runaway with you (let's go!)

Cuando caminas, paras el mall
Culo grande, cinturita small

Dominicana (dime)
Colombiana (papi)
Mi mexicana (oh, yeah)
Latinoamericana (presente)

Tú si me gustas, ahora te toca darme like (fuego, ¡DY!)

Baby, let's
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway now (runaway; ¡síguelo!)
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway now (let's runaway, runaway; ¡fuego!)
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway with you

Runa-runa-ru– (Yatra, Yatra; Yatra!)

Quiero quedarme contigo
De la noche a la mañana
Quiero perderme en tu ombligo
Como ese fin de semana

Desde el Polo Norte
Hasta el Polo Sur (that's right)
Quiero recorrerte
Apaga ya la luz

Si me dices cosas tan bonitas
Puedo darte lo que necesites
Quédate conmigo, quédate conmigo
I leave it all behind just to be with you

Baby, just
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway now (runaway; ¡síguelo!)
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-runaway now (let's runaway, runaway; ¡fuego!)
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa- (su-su-sube)
Runaway with you (su-su-sube)

Let's runaway! (Queme, queme, queme)

Dominicana (dime)
Colombiana (papi)
Mi mexicana (oh, yeah)
Latinoamericana (presente)

Let's runaway, let's runaway
Runa-runa-runa-runa-runa-
Runaway with you

Letra:

Wow bebe

Si tú me ves enamorao no te sorprenda

Si tú me ves enamorao no te sorprenda

Conmigo tú eres feliz aunque no tenga lana

Wow bebe

Tú quieres saber si me puedes comer

Ohhhhhh
Ohhhhhh
Ohhhhhh
Ohhhhhhh

Barbara Lynn - You'll Lose A Good Thing (The Beat, 1966) Hotney 3 Ansichten • 3 Jahre vor

Singer/guitarist Barbara Lynn was a rare commodity during her heyday. Not only was she a female instrumentalist (one of the very first to hit the charts), but she also played left-handed -- quite well at that -- and even wrote some of her own material. Lynn's music often straddled the line between blues and Southern R&B, and since much of her early work -- including the number one R&B hit "You'll Lose a Good Thing" -- was recorded in New Orleans, it bore the sonic imprint of the Crescent City. Lynn was born Barbara Lynn Ozen in Beaumont, TX, on January 16, 1942; she played the piano as a child before switching to guitar, inspired by Elvis Presley. In junior high, Lynn formed her own band, Bobbie Lynn and the Idols; at this point, her musical role models veered between bluesmen (Guitar Slim, Jimmy Reed) and female pop singers (Brenda Lee, Connie Francis). After winning a few talent shows and playing some teen dances, the still-underage Lynn started working the local clubs and juke joints, risking getting kicked out of school if she had been discovered. Singer Joe Barry caught her live act and recommended her to his friend, producer/impresario Huey P. Meaux, aka the Crazy Cajun.

With her parents' consent, Meaux brought Lynn to New Orleans to record at the legendary Cosimo's studio. Lynn cut a few singles for the Jamie label with the understanding that if none hit, she was to attend college instead of pursuing music right off the bat. In 1962, her self-penned ballad "You'll Lose a Good Thing" became a national hit, reaching the pop Top Ten and climbing all the way to number one on the R&B charts. Her first album (of the same name) was also released that year, featuring ten of her originals among its 12 tracks. Lynn continued to record for Jamie up through 1965, producing follow-up R&B hits like "You're Gonna Need Me" and "Oh Baby (We Got a Good Thing Goin')," the latter of which was recorded by the Rolling Stones in 1965. In 1966, Lynn switched over to Meaux's Tribe label and cut "You Left the Water Running," which became something of an R&B standard and was covered by the likes of Otis Redding. In 1967, she signed with Atlantic and had another R&B hit with "This Is the Thanks I Get" early the following year; she also issued another album, Here Is Barbara Lynn, in 1968. Lynn scored one last hit for Atlantic in 1972's "(Until Then) I'll Suffer," but by this point, she had several children to worry about raising; dissatisfied with her promotion anyway, she wound up effectively retiring from the music business for most of the '70s and '80s, though she did play the occasional low-key tour.

Lynn returned to music in the mid-'80s, touring Japan for the first time in 1984; she later cut a live album there, called You Don't Have to Go, which was eventually issued in the States by Ichiban. Lynn had managed to retain a cult following among connoisseurs of American soul and blues in several different pockets of the world, and toured internationally during the early '90s. In 1994, Bullseye Blues issued her first full-fledged studio album in over two decades, So Good; Until Then I'll Suffer followed in 1996. Lynn later caught on with the respected blues label Antone's, and in 2000 she cut Hot Night Tonight, which featured a couple of raps by her son Bachelor Wise. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
