I have been making and playing out D&B in my sets ever since the beginning of my career as a DJ / Producer. I felt it was time to finally release another big D&B tune and have been testing out and thus perfecting the instrumental for this record all summer long and it definitely became a highly requested fan favorite!
I have always wanted to work with P Money, for me he’s the voice of a generation and one of those rare MC’s out there that can lift an instrumental to a whole new level both energetically as well as emotionally. We wanted to create a record that gives you motivation and inspiration to push yourself to the max and to always stand for what you believe in. So hyped to finally share this beast with the world!

I have spoken fairly recently with Mr. Robinson, who said this was the only movie in which he appeared. What a crying shame! Thankfully, there are other films of him on YouTube. Robinson said he performed as a guest in a Frankie Carle piano contest in Detroit, where he was discovered and given a contract from MGM. 'Give Me The Night' as performed by George Benson at the North Sea Jazz Festival 1987 George Benson (born March 22, 1943 is an American musician, guitarist, and singer-songwriter. He began his professional career at 21 as a jazz guitarist. Benson uses a rest-stroke picking technique similar to that of gypsy jazz players such as Django Reinhardt. Benson performed many times at the North Sea Jazz Festival. This fantastic performance was recorded by AVRO Television on 12th July, 1987 at the Garden Pavillion, Congressgebouw, The Hague, The Netherlands, 12 July 1987. At the end of 1974, the Jackson 5 was allowed their first month break since they hit the big time 5 years before, but could it go on much longer?

Kirsty Hawkshaw, the voice behind Opus III’s 1992 hit ‘It’s A Fine Day’, shares the making of one of UK dance music’s most beloved hits.
Hawkshaw gives DJ Mag an insight into her musical upbringing – from growing up as the daughter of famous composer Alan Hawkshaw, the man behind the iconic Countdown theme tune, to becoming a part of the travelling free party scene in the '90s with Spiral Tribe – and recalls recording her vocals for the single, an interpretation of an Edward Barton poem originally sung by Jane, in a kitchen in Sunderland.
Produced by Kevin Dodds, Ian Munro and Nigel Walton, 'It's A Fine Day' became an instant hit, and launched Kirsty into the spotlight with TV interviews, Top of the Pops performances and worldwide shows, an experience she wasn't always comfortable with.
From Orbital's 'Halcyon' to Skrillex & Boys Noize's 2023 hit 'Fine Day Anthem', Hawkshaw's vocal has been sampled countless times. 32 years later, she shares her feelings on this phenomenon, and speaks about what the track still means to her today.
