A rare collection of Jay Dee beats from as early as 1995. You'll notice that some of these ended up on "The 1997 Batch". Support jdillafoundation.org & Vintage Vibez Music Group

There is an interview with Illa J by Chuck Chilla where Illa J spoke on the Yancey Boys album and that the beats on it came from '95-'98, this may be that batch in some form. He also said the CD had 38 tracks and that's how many beats are on this if you don't count the alternate tape transfers. Zero EQ or noise reduction was done, all I did was remove gaps and make the cover art. Happy Dilla month!

Lyrics:
What's the matter with the clothes I'm wearing?
'Can't you tell that your tie's too wide?'
Maybe I should buy some old tab collars?
'Welcome back to the age of jive.
Where have you been hidin' out lately, honey?
You can't dress trashy till you spend a lot of money.'
Everybody's talkin' 'bout the new sound
Funny, but it's still rock and roll to me

The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim performs Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the Berlin Philharmonic. It's supported by singers Angela Denoke, Waltraud Meier, Burkhard Fritz and René Pape. The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra is a very special ensemble: It is made up of young Israeli and Arab musicians and is campaigning for a peaceful solution to the Middle East conflict. The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, which was founded in 1999, gives concerts all over the world. Proceeds from the concert in Berlin went to the Barenboim-Said Academy, which supports musical education programs.

The 9th Symphony in D minor op. 125 is the last finished symphony by the composer Ludwig van Beethoven. The work was premiered in Vienna on May 7, 1824 in the presence of Beethoven, who was already completely deaf and was a complete success. The fourth movement is also known as "Ode to Joy" and is one of the most popular songs in the world. Since 1985, the main theme of the
last movement has been the official European anthem.

I. Allegro ma non troppo, un poco maestoso 00:00

Billy Idol - Eyes Without A Face. An exclusive performance for Vevo.

You could tell by the way he raged through Generation X's "Ready Steady Go" in 1978, when punk was peaking. Billy Idol filled the performance with a blend of vehement put-down and celebratory joy. Once he split from the band and went solo, that rage, along with a sweet sneer and a lot of lust, still defined his public stance. His self-titled '82 debut contained the pounding "White Wedding." It's wildly successful follow-up, cut at NYC's Electric Lady Studios, blasted along on the power of numerous hits, including "Rebel Yell," "Catch My Fall," "Flesh for Fantasy," and "Eyes Without a Face." The singer is currently celebrating the 40th anniversary of this victory, and he came into our LA studio to knock out feisty versions of the title cut and "Eyes Without A Face." In an exclusive Footnotes interview, he also explained how the latter vid was conceived and created (think graveyards and monsters). His old pal Steve Stevens was on guitar, of course. Together they put plenty of oomph in the former and bit of evil in the latter. Check the performances, and be aware that a deluxe 40th anny version of the album awaits you wherever vinyl is sold.

The Queen of Detroit, Kash Doll, joins Club Shay Shay for an unforgettable conversation with Shannon Sharpe. In this must-watch episode, the platinum-certified rapper, actress, entrepreneur, and philanthropist drops knowledge with her Kash Kommandments, revealing the unfiltered rules every woman should live by when it comes to love, money, and self-respect.

Kicking things off with a live performance of her hit track “Kash Kommandments” from her latest album The Last Doll, Kash Doll sets the stage for an insightful conversation about relationships, independence, and leveling up. She shares the inspirations behind her music, including how The Notorious B.I.G.'s Ten Crack Commandments shaped her own empowering message for women.

From navigating the entertainment industry as a self-made boss to balancing motherhood and business, Kash Doll gets real about the lessons she’s learned. She reveals why women should never let a man play them twice, how to spot insecurity disguised as control, and why loyalty and authenticity always trump wealth. She also touches on the challenges of staying true to yourself in the industry and emphasizes knowing your worth.

Kash Doll opens up about the hard lessons she’s learned regarding family, financial boundaries, and self-sufficiency. She drops gems about the importance of having your own money to avoid feeling trapped, stating, “If he brings all the food to the table, you give him all the power to starve you.”

The conversation shifts to friendships, loyalty, and the importance of saying “no” to establish boundaries. Kash Doll shares her perspective on masculinity in relationships, explaining how the right man can bring out a woman's softer side, but the wrong one turns it into a power struggle.

Reflecting on her journey, Kash Doll takes us back to her childhood in Detroit, sharing stories of tough times, school struggles, and growing up in a household where she had to step into a caregiving role for her siblings. She talks about her early jobs—working at Little Caesars and Best Buy—and how exotic dancing gave her the confidence to make her mark in music. Kash Doll’s story is one of resilience, empowerment, and self-made success.

From opening for Chief Keef to getting recognition from Drake, Kash Doll’s rise in the music industry wasn’t without its challenges. She reflects on how she shifted from dancing to rapping and how she’s learned to navigate relationships, loyalty, and money with authenticity.

Kash Doll also dives into personal experiences, including a theft that cost her $500,000 in jewelry and another robbery at her Atlanta home. These experiences taught her valuable lessons about letting go of material possessions and focusing on what truly matters.

With her signature confidence and unfiltered honesty, Kash Doll shares her experiences with Empire and BMF, discussing her career evolution and how she’s moving beyond the “doll” label in the rap world to be recognized for her talent.

From navigating tough personal boundaries to managing her wealth, Kash Doll drops gems on staying grounded and true to yourself in the entertainment industry. This is one episode you don’t want to miss—class is in session!

The Supreme Truth takes you deep into one of hip-hop’s most explosive stories — the rise, fall, and controversial conviction of Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff. Once the powerful figure behind the infamous Supreme Team, McGriff’s name became legendary in both the streets and the music industry.

This documentary reveals the truth behind his trial — a case tied to Murder Inc. founders Irv and Chris Gotti, who were acquitted, while Supreme was convicted in what many call a sham prosecution. His past as a gangster overshadowed the evidence, and the courtroom became a battleground of reputation versus reality.

Featuring appearances and references to major figures like Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Irv and Chris Gotti, and Gerald “Prince” Miller — Supreme’s nephew and second-in-command — The Supreme Truth unpacks how street legacy, music empire, and federal prosecution collided.

Was Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff convicted for the truth or for the legend of his name?

The Dark Story of King Von & KI. This story is crazy!

After many requests, we have finally decided to make a video on King Von and KI. This video follows a trail of social media interactions between two rival South Side Chicago gang members that ultimately leads to an unbelievable ending.

King Von is a member of a gang in Chicago called "O Block" while KI is a female member of "STL". The two gangs are rivals and have a long history together. King Von and KI would tweet and direct message each other on Twitter with the intention of upsetting one another... but sometimes King Von would express his feelings for KI despite being from opposing sides of the gang war in Chicago. The question is though, did King Von really love KI or was this all a set up...

Follow our socials:
Instagram - @VAULTIG

Guido his great-grandparents, grandfather, and father were all conductors and with that his great musical examples. At an early age, he established his name as a concertmaster and soloist, before continuing his career as a conductor, violinist, and soloist on tours throughout Europe and around the world.

During his conservatory studies in Maastricht, Guido approached his childhood friend and pop keyboard player Falco Borsboom to compose and arrange together for a new smashing orchestra production. The Maestro & The European Pop Orchestra was born!

Since then, Guido founded The European Pop Orchestra. Together with his musicians, Maestro Guido has provided worldwide concerts, composed and arranged music for commercials such as McDonald's, Rabobank, WWF, Dela, and AllSecur, played many TV shows, released several gold CDs and DVDs, produced large TV specials in many world languages and performed live for more than 1.8 million visitors. Guido is also completely private with The European Pop Orchestra. Guido got married in 2006 to the solo singer of the orchestra, Wendy Kokkelkoren. After the first concert together, the spark broke and their romance started, since then they are inseparable. Together Guido and Wendy form a happy musical family with their daughters Emma-Sophie and Annabel. Both daughters love to be on stage and perform together with their parents.

In 1983, at the NBA All-Star Game, Marvin Gaye stole the show with his singular rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

At the time, singing the anthem was for the most part a straightforward job — shoulders square, sing it straight like the hymn that it is. But for this game, Gaye took the anthem to a new level.

Lon Rosen remembers it well — he was the director of promotions for the Los Angeles Lakers, the team hosting the All-Star game that year. He says Gaye's one rehearsal was bumpy. By this point in his life, Gaye was battling a serious drug addiction. And on game day, the singer was running perilously late. But then the lights dimmed, and Gaye made history.

One year later, Marvin Gaye was dead, shot by his own father.

The Preemo Track Off The LOX Album "We Are The Streets"

"Nightflyer" is from Allison Russell's first ever solo project, Outside Child (produced by Dan Knobler). Stream/buy here: https://found.ee/AROutsideChild
"Nightflyer" is written by Allison Russell and Jeremy Lindsay aka JT Nero.

"When I was sixteen I read The Thunder: Perfect Mind for the first time - it’s an exhortatory poem discovered among the Gnostic manuscripts in the Nag Hammadi library in the 40’s. It has never left me. I’ve been meditating on the nature of resilience, endurance, and grace more deeply since becoming a mother. I was trying to bridge the divide and embrace shame and my inner divinity equally with this piece…"- A

Lyrics:
Yeah I’m a midnight rider
Stone bonafide night flyer
I’m an angel of the morning too
The promise that the dawn will bring you
I’m the melody and the space between
Every note the swallow sings
I’m 14 vultures circling
I’m that crawling, dying thing
I’m the smoke up above the trees, Good Lord
The fire and the branch that’s burning, Lord
Maybe you were sleeping, Lord,
But Mary she’s not weeping no more, no
Yeah I’m a midnight rider
Stone bonafide night flyer
I’m an angel of the morning too
The promise that the dawn will bring you
I’m the sick light of a hurricane’s eye
I’m a violent lullaby
I’m six fireflies, one streetlight
I’m a suffocating summer night hmm mmm
I’m each of his steps on the stairway
I’m his shadow in the door frame
I’m the tap tap of a lunar moth
I’m the stale beer on his breath hmm mmm

His soul is trapped in that room
But I crawled back in my mother’s womb
Came back out with my gold and my greens
Now I see everything
Now I feel everything good lord
What the hell could they bring to stop me Lord?
Nothing from the earth, nothing from the sea
Not a God Almighty thing
Yeah I’m a midnight rider
Stone bonafide night flyer
I’m an angel of the morning too
The promise that the dawn will bring you
I’m the wounded bird, I’m the screaming hawk
I’m the one who can’t be counted out
I’m the dove thrown into battle
I can roll and shake and rattle hmmm mmm
I’m the moon’s dark side, I’m the solar flare
The child of the Earth, the child of the Air
I am The Mother of the Evening Star
I am the Love that Conquers All
Yeah I’m a midnight rider
Stone bonafide night flyer
I’m an angel of the morning too
The promise that the dawn will bring you

“It’s been a minute,” says Jay-Z as he sits across from GQ’s Frazier Tharpe.

Thirty years on from his debut album—a milestone that will hit with the _Reasonable Doubt_ anniversary in June—Jay-Z, now 56, is more influential than ever before. But the journey hasn’t been without controversy, criticism, and challenges—most recently in the form of a civil lawsuit brought against him at the tail end of 2024.

The self-made billionaire (touching three times over) reflects on the tidal wave of turmoil that rippled through 2025, which was punctuated by the unwavering support of his wife, Beyoncé, alongside their tight-knit family. The pair also cover the evolution of hip-hop and Jay’s thoughts on the Kendrick vs. Drake beef, alongside him quarterbacking the Super Bowl’s halftime show within the kaleidoscopic nature of the zeitgeist.

Three decades into the game, Shawn Carter reintroduces himself. This is the GQ Video Cover Story with Jay-Z.

"Fly" Lyrics:
HOLD YOUR HEART
SAY YOU’LL STAY WITH ME FOREVER, FOREVER
OPEN DOORS
HOLD YOUR HEART JUST LIKE A FEATHER
A FEATHER

CHORUS:
MAKE ME A BIRD
SO I CAN FLY AWAY FROM HERE
HIGH ABOVE THIS WORLD
NOW THERE'S NOTHING LEFT, NOTHING LEFT
JUST ME AND THE AIR I BREATHE

THERES ALWAYS A CHANCE FOR STORMY WEATHER
WIND IS TAKING ME
TO ANOTHER PLACE
I'M FALLING HARD, FALLING HARD WITHOUT A TETHER,
A TETHER
I'M CRAWLING THROUGH,
CRAWLING THROUGH I CANT FORGET HER,
SHE'S FOREVER

(CHORUS)

YOU TRY TO TELL ME ALL THE TIME
I DON'T KNOW WHAT LOVE IS AND I'M BLIND
BUT I KNOW WHO YOU ARE,
A FALLING STAR
AND YOU’RE MINE
(CHORUS)
