Video musical del sencillo "Vine a buscarte", que forma parte de mi quinta producción discográfica titulada "Conexión" (2015).
Es una canción romántica que esconde una historia sobre los amores que se escaparon una vez pero, por azares del destino, se reencuentran para nunca más decir adiós.

El video fue filmado por Miguel Vélez en escenarios de Barranquilla, Colombia. Podrán ver una pareja que se reencuentra durante uno de mis conciertos, después de un largo viaje por lugares icónicos de del caribe colombiano. Y prometen no separarse jamás.
La canción llega luego del lanzamiento de "Ya no me faltan" y "Entre mi vida y la tuya" que se incluyen en este álbum Conexión (2015). Su estreno en países como Colombia, México, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Honduras y Panamá tuvo un impacto muy positivo en mi música.

The Main Ingredient is the second album by Pete Rock & CL Smooth, released on October 8, 1994. It would become their last album together.
[Music]
Characterized by sultry soul and jazz samples, The Main Ingredient saw a more polished sound than the duo’s debut, building on the praise that they had already garnered. The album is notable for its snappy, crispy drums and extensive use of vocal scratches, usually from songs by Biz Markie. Although missing a centerpiece on the scale of "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)", the album contains some of the duo's best known work, in the form of tracks such as the upbeat "In The House", and the catchy "Sun Won't Come Out", which features a lush vocal sample from the song of the same name by Harvey Scales.
Continuing a theme initiated by Mecca and the Soul Brother, brief instrumental interludes are placed at the beginning and end of songs. With the exception of just a few tracks, this feature is recurrent throughout the album. In addition, The Main Ingredient saw Rock fleshing out and defining his trademark production style, which is now recognized for often containing smooth basslines, swirling horns, filtered samples, and spacious grooves. The production on this album proved to be influential upon a legion of latter day producers.
[Reception]
Though overlooked at the time of its release, the album has since been re-evaluated with high critical acclaim. AllMusic's Stanton Swihart called it "an album that is far more focused" and "just as good as the first record, perhaps an even more satisfying single listen." Swihart described Rock's production work as "among some of the most seductive in hip-hop", and CL as "lyrically on point, spitting out intellectual rhymes and narratives that are just as propulsive and engaging as the music."
"I Got A Love" was the album's lead off single, followed by "Take You There" and "Searching", released in 1995. That same year, the duo appeared in a well received Sprite commercial; however, they soon announced their breaking up citing creative differences, although both parties have since admitted that an unstable working relationship was the main cause of their split. The album was a favorite of the late producer J Dilla, who played it while meeting with Pete Rock to record Slum Village's "Once Upon A Time" for the album, Fantastic, Vol. 2 in 1998.

Frederick Theodore Albert Delius, CH (29 January 1862 – 10 June 1934), originally Fritz Delius, was an English composer. Born in Bradford in the north of England to a prosperous mercantile family, he resisted attempts to recruit him to commerce. He was sent to Florida in the United States in 1884 to manage an orange plantation. He soon neglected his managerial duties and in 1886 returned to Europe.

Prelude to Irmelin (1890-92)
Royal Philharmonic conducted by Sir Thomas Beecham
Irmelin is an opera in three acts with music by Frederick Delius. Composed between 1890 and 1892, it was the first opera which he finished. But it wasn't premiered until 1953, nearly twenty years after his death. The libretto was by the composer, and weaves together two mythical stories. Philip Heseltine described the opera as a "fairy-tale of quite ordinary kind" and "its form dramatically rather below the level of the conventional operatic text. Though the music was much praised by Grieg and Messager... its performance was never seriously contemplated by the composer". Delius had however assimilated Wagnerian influence in his music, with use of key motifs and a sense of flow through the three acts.
Performance history
Sir Thomas Beecham directed the British premiere at the New Theatre Oxford on 4 May 1953; the costumes were by Beatrice Dawson and choreography by Pauline Grant. Beecham's advocacy of the score and "care with which he realizes each detail, the beauty of sound he elicits from his orchestra", were praised by the Opera critic, along with Dennis Arundell's production.
Florent Schmitt arranged the piano scores of Delius's first two operas, Irmelin and The Magic Fountain, but the first full Irmelin score was a vocal score compiled by Dennis Arundell in 1953.

Geese premiered five tracks from their second album, "3D Country," at our Rolling Stone Studios. If you know of Geese, then you've probably heard their origin story: a group of school friends from Brooklyn recorded an album during the pandemic as a last hurrah before shipping off to college. Executives from Partisan Records (home of British rockers Idles and the Irish post-punkers Fontaines DC) get their hands on the album, 2021's Projector, sign the band, and soon the quintet become anointed the latest saviors of NYC rock – touring the world, performing on late night television, and creating significant industry buzz with their run of gigs at SXSW in 2022. All in all, a tall order of hype for a sop****re album from a group of kids who only recently gained the ability to drink at their shows legally.
The five-piece (with an additional keyboardist for this session) blends the NYC indie scene swagger of the 2000s, the groove of the 70s, and crooning from the 60s to form a distinctive-yet-nostalgic rock sound that's become the group's trademark. This session's full of surprises, as Geese switches between genres and moods and launches into extended jams that showcase the group's songwriting, musicianship, and vocals.

Here is my PBS Television Special "Jesse Cook Live in Concert" in HD, and in its entirety.
We recorded this Concert in March 2012, at the Rose Theatre in Brampton, Canada. It premiered on PBS in the United States later that same year. Though it was my 3rd TV Special, it was actually the first of my concerts to be broadcast throughout the US, and introduced my music to whole new audience.
This special was filmed by directed Jared Raab, and his gang at Vulture Culture Films, a talented group of very young film makers, barely out of film school. It really felt like their crew was half my age. But they were able to capture our live show in way that finally translated for television audiences, while satisfying my desire to have the experience feel cinematic. I cannot express enough how deeply thankful I am to all of them, and in awe of what they were able to achieve.
And of course I am forever thankful to the musicians and crew and everyone that worked so hard to make this special what it is. It was almost 10 years ago now. Seems like forever ago.
