Genesis Duke tour live at the Lyceum May 1980. Not officially available in its entirety in HD, the footage presented here has been remixed and restored by Bill film and is the best available presentation of Genesis from this time. Presented here for archival purposes as it is one of my favourite all time live videos.

**ABOUT P.U.L.S.E. RESTORED & RE-EDITED**
The P.U.L.S.E. concert film (helmed by esteemed director David Mallet) will be available as 2x Blu-ray and 2x DVD deluxe box sets, with the video footage having been expertly re-edited by Aubrey Powell/Hipgnosis from the original tape masters especially for The Later Years release in 2019. The cover design, originally created by Storm Thorgerson and Peter Curzon for the 2006 DVD release, has also been updated with photography by Aubrey Powell/Hipgnosis and Rupert Truman/StormStudios. The packaging artwork is designed by Peter Curzon from StormStudios, under the direction of Aubrey Powell/Hignosis.

This release also sees the reintroduction of the iconic pulsating light as per the original 1995 CD release, this time operated by 2 replaceable AA batteries. The deluxe packages include music videos, concert screen films, documentaries, Pulse Tour rehearsal footage & more, alongside a 60-page booklet.

P.U.L.S.E., originally released as an album in 1995, was recorded on the European leg of the Division Bell tour and the DVD and Blu-Ray packages include the whole live performance of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ - the only full live filmed recording of this seminal album. The concert, filmed on 20 October 1994 at Earls Court in London, saw Pink Floyd play some of their classic tracks as well as highlights from the recently released album ‘The Division Bell’. Standout tracks include ‘High Hopes’, ‘Keep Talking’, ‘Sorrow’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘Comfortably Numb’ and ‘The Great Gig In The Sky’.

After having to move our operation to the outskirts of this year's NAMM convention, I was found by none other than MAURI! He originally sang with me at last year's NAMM and had only seen the video I posted a MONTH before finding me again! I was so glad to get to catch up with Mauri and have him sing another song, as his voice and personality are unique! Hopefully this becomes a recurring event for Mauri and I, getting to do this again at next year's NAMM!

My first time with Mauri: https://youtu.be/BWxnCRE1lE0
Being asked to leave NAMM: https://youtu.be/82VRuNPQ6eU

As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me for Free" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

///LYRICS///
Dead Of Night
The sun goes down, another dreamless night - you’re right by my side
You wake me up, you say it’s time to ride - in the dead of night
Strange canyon road, strange look in your eyes - you shut them as we fly - As we fly
Stark, hollow town - Carson city lights - baby lets get high
Spend a Johnny’s cash, hitch another ride - we laugh until we cry
You say go fast I say hold on tight
In the dead of night - dead of night
See - see the boys as they walk on by
See - see the boys as they walk on by
It’s enough to make a young man -
Six summers down, another dreamless night - you’re not by my side
Scratch on the moon like a familiar smile - stained on my mind
Some other town, someone else’s life - dead in the night - in the night
See - see the boys as they walk on by
See - see the boys as they walk on by
It’s enough to make a young man -

The one and only Nicki Minaj joins Ebro in the studio just days after the release of her record-breaking album, 'Pink Friday 2.'

Nicki shares a bit about what's been going on in her personal life since the release of her last album and how she balances being vulnerable with her fans while also protecting her privacy. Fans have noted that tracks like "Are You Gone Already" and "Last Time i Saw You" are some of the most personal songs the artist has ever released, and Nicki shares the stories behind them with Ebro.

Nicki also explains how she channeled her mindset during 'Pink Friday' while writing 'Pink Friday 2', her experience working with J. Cole on "Let Me Calm Down", and collaborating with Drake on "Needle", which, though she always felt belonged on 'Pink Friday 2', was originally created for 'For All the Dogs.' The discussion also touches on the incomparable energy of the Barbz, the media's perception of Nicki, and how being an actor informs her musicality.

With a world tour on the way and new music continuing to drop, it's clear that the album's exciting release week is only the beginning of the 'Pink Friday 2' era.

lyrics:
the ghost rots away
in the embrace
of its own gaze

in automatic cycles and habits
paper the mirrors, closed eyes see clearer
die cut my shadow into the drywall
ego at half mast, gas masks and hazmats
chemical war

children were singing
animals bleating
markets and town square
in dissonant fanfare
laughs at the gallows
a truce in the trenches
guards at the fences
saying “all that you’re seeking won’t be found here”

goodbye, mayfly.
fly from still water
how long i have loved you
how long have i loved you?

goodbye, mayfly.
call it a bad dream
how long i have loved you
how long have i loved you?

skin to walk into
warm blood to fill you
a heart with a glass door
all that you asked for

from family nexus to family nexus
vox populi, vox dei

held like a headwound
violence will free you
heart with a glass door
all that you asked for, coming to you.

Phyllis Hyman, born on July 6, 1949, was a gifted American singer, songwriter, and actress whose captivating voice and emotional performances made her a standout in soul and R&B music. Known for timeless songs like "You Know How to Love Me," "Living All Alone," and "Old Friend," Hyman’s rich, velvety vocals brought depth and elegance to every note she sang. But behind her powerful voice was a life marked by profound struggles and inner battles.

Hyman’s passion for music emerged early, and she quickly rose to prominence in the 1970s and ‘80s, becoming one of the most revered vocalists of her time. Her collaborations with jazz and R&B greats, including Norman Connors and Grover Washington Jr., showcased her versatility and ability to effortlessly blend genres. She also graced Broadway, earning critical acclaim for her role in "Sophisticated Ladies."

Despite her success, Hyman faced personal hardships and emotional turmoil, which often reflected in her music’s haunting honesty. Her ability to channel love, pain, and longing through her voice made her a relatable and unforgettable artist to many.

Join us as we explore the life, artistry, and legacy of Phyllis Hyman — a voice of beauty, power, and heartbreak that still resonates with fans today. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more in-depth stories on your favorite artists!

Since official AaliyahVEVO already uploaded "If Your Girl Only Knew" in perfect quality, we included only Steve Harvey announcement of that performance. Also pardon the first verse quality, but our HQ was broken at this part.

Ashley Pointer | April 17, 2024
Throughout an emotional, soul-stirring set, the multitudes of Yaya Bey's music and artistry are on full display in her Tiny Desk concert. The New York-bred singer-songwriter opens the show by paying homage to her Barbados roots: reggae-tinged grooves of "meet me in brooklyn" from her powerful 2022 album, Remember Your North Star, that flow seamlessly into "on the pisces moon" from 2023's Exodus The North Star.

Our little corner can be a space for artists and musicians to approach their music in more intimate ways, often leading to incredibly raw experiences. Bey manages to create a sense of closeness with the audience as she emphatically expresses how difficult this performance is for her to get through: "My dad died last year, so I be spacing out sometimes when I do this joint," before diving into the sentimental "reprise."

Before closing the set with "me and all my n*****," a new song from her upcoming LP Ten Fold, which she says she wrote as "an ode to human resilience," she continues to open up about her battle with long COVID: "That mask s*** is real; [this] s*** is hard." Bey's performance feels like peeking into her personal journals, and it's truly healing to experience. Not a dry eye was left in the building.

Part punk, part balladeer, a little bit country, a bit of pop, a lot of rock n roll, but never out of fashion, Declan MacManus aka Elvis Costello has been writing, recording, performing and touring for 5 decades! He is perfectly unique and a most prolific and fearless pop progressive. His collaborations and ventures into all genres gives him that distinctive acclaim and enduring love by his fans.

'Alison' is the near enough to a title cut on his debut LP 'My aim is true' released in the middle of 1977. While not a major hit either in Britain or here in Australia, it remains one of his best loved songs, and displays not only his gentler self, but the assured writer and performer that he already was on his first recording. Enjoy!

＜English Lyrics＞
Tackling a hectic schedule,
Sunday is the only exciting day
I want to play, I want to slay
but still can't figure out the right way
"When's OK?" comes a DM
It's OK! Effort-free
Ah, I've been lucky these days, happy Sunday

Sounding out each other,
we share the table and say "Hi"
Our eyes meet and the real game starts here
"Relativity theory"? I don't know
I'm getting up now

"Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now"

Sorry,Sorry,I'm sorry,I know now
Let's just run away
Sorry,Sorry,I'm sorry,I know now
Let's just run away
Peck on, peck on the ground
Like a real grown-up bowing and behaving right
Peck on, peck on the ground more
Are you treating me like a child?

Hey, you're too sweet on yourself as if you're a candy
Your venti attitude makes me wanna punch
Thrills are your spice of life; good for you!
Unlucky, make it clear, going amok with you there

Here goes the great liberation!
More or less vague
Great pinch-hitter VS. Bye-bye
Everyday goes with a flow
Catch it early, get it early, ride the wave on a journey
Am I stepping myself up?
I'm brushing myself up!
With the world at my back
I give my all to send out lucid rap
I'll do anything!

The way they do is bowing and smiling
I feel out of place at a drinking party
"With an honor student vision, work your way up"
I'm getting up now

"Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now"

Sorry,Sorry,I'm sorry,I know now
Let's just run away
Sorry,Sorry,I'm sorry,I know now
Let's just run away
Peck on, peck on the ground
like a real grown-up bowing and behaving right
Peck on, peck on the ground more
Are you treating me like a kid?

The Story of ‘Skipper’ - The Bullied Kid That Later Became PRINCE.
Prince was thrust into the enchanting world of music when he witnessed his father's nightclub performance. As the house lights dimmed, the curtains parted, and a solitary spotlight illuminated John Nelson at the piano, the young Prince found himself spellbound. With each graceful movement of the scantily clad chorus girls and each mesmerizing note from his father's piano, Prince's fascination with the transformative power of music intensified.

Lyrics:
You are my desire
Love it when you set my heart on fire
Tell me do you feel the way I do
All I want it is one night with you
You are my desire
Every time we kiss I can’t deny it
Tell me do you feel the way I do
Are you falling in love with me too
Don’t care where we go tonight
As long as you’re there with me
I just need to let it out
And dance til my body’s free
Don’t care to have the talk
You stare when I look away
It’s cute cause I feel it all
And now I know you’re the same
You are my desire
Love it when you set my heart on fire
Tell me do you feel the way I do
All I want it is one night with you
You are my desire
Every time we kiss I can’t deny it
Tell me do you feel the way I do

Official music video for Still My Love performed by Wilson Meadows

https://www.instagram.com/wilsonmeadows
https://www.facebook.com/meadows.wilson

i hear she’s been seeing
this loser since we’ve been apart
now i call him a loser
because even though we’re apart
that’s still my love
and no way he can win this
he may claim her now, that’s fine
but hey, check it out
it’s just a matter of time

it’s still my love
that’s still my love
that’s still my love
i’m gon’ say it again
you’re still my love
that’s still my love
that’s still my love

they say, they say
she’s found someone new
she’s supposed to be happy
but guess what
i don’t believe that’s true
no, she just can’t be happy
you see, she can fool her friends
that’s the easy part
oh, just wait, she can’t fool her heart

that’s still my love
it’s still my love
oh, that’s still my love
i’m gonna say it
that’s still my love
that’s still, that’s still
that’s still my love, alright?

see i know my love, uh
and i just wanna say
it ain’t a faucet
you can’t turn it off when you want to
‘cause love don’t work that way, no
for eyes that weep, there’s a heart that yearns
the girl’s been cryin’, it’s so healin’

that’s still my love
that’s still my love
oh, that’s still my love
i’m gon’ say it again
that’s still my love
that’s still, that’s still
that’s still my love, alright?

listen, she comes by here
when she wants what she wants
when she want it
that’s still my love
oh, he don’t hear me
i said, she comes by here
when she needs what she needs
when she need it
that’s still my love
i’m gonna shout out loud

that’s still my love
that’s still my love
that’s still my love, alright?
for him, let me say
brother, there just ain’t no way
that’s still my love, alright?

though all our ups and downs
though all our turnarounds
that’s still my love

oh, baby
if you ever bail, baby
you know, you’re still my love, alright?
you’re still my love
it’s still my love
that’s still my love
that’s still my love

Swae Lee stops by to talk about his new solo album Same Difference and the legacy of Rae Sremmurd. He breaks down how he wrote the hit song Unforgettable for French Montana. He also tells the story of how he chipped his tooth at a Travis Scott show. The vibes are high as they play QuickTime with Slime and talk about his Diamond records. Swae even mentions meeting Andre 3000 and his flute in New York. It is a legendary conversation with a true hitmaker. #SwaeLee #DrinkChamps #NORE #DJEFN
