The young Amy Winehouse from North-London is one of the new, twinkling singer/songwriter stars. She doesn’t only have a remarkable, hoarse voice, reminiscent of Lauren Hill or even Billie Holiday, she also displays a form of straightforwardness that is typical of these modern times. Let’s make one thing clear: Winehouse may be only twenty, but her subjects are a lot wiser and more explicit than those of your average One Hit Wonder in the charts. She commands a lot of different styles as we can hear on her debut CD Frank. From seventies soul and modern R&B she goes straight into jazz classics that she gives the sweltering soul ballad approach. All in all, this wayward singer with a lot of grit in her is a newcomer to cherish. And what will she sound like live?

Michael Jackson's short film for "Blood on the Dance Floor" was one of two short films produced for recordings from Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix, a collection of remixes and new songs released in 1997. As a single, "Blood on the Dance Floor" was a No. 1 hit in the United Kingdom, Spain, Denmark and New Zealand, and reached the Top 10 in another 12 countries, including France, Germany, Ireland and Italy.

Michael Jackson co-directed "Blood on the Dance Floor" with choreographer Vincent Patterson. In the short film, Michael sings and dances to the song in a crowded club alongside a switchblade-wielding dancer played by Sybil Azur. The short film made its world premiere on the long-running U.K. program Top of the Pops.

Ana Sotillo (https://www.instagram.com/byanasotillo) lleva cinco años trabajando con Recycled J, desde el lanzamiento de ‘Oro rosa’. Desde entonces ha sido la encargada de definir la imagen del artista, desde sus apariciones en la alfombra roja en las semanas de la moda de toda Europa a la estética de su última etapa en ‘CASANOVA’, su álbum de 2023. En este episodio de AL DESNUDO, acompañamos a Ana por distintos showrooms de Madrid para construir un nuevo look que el propio Recycled J prueba al final del episodio.
