Shoutout Ms. Martina!

Lyrics:

Aye, yea Saweetie got her bag right
I feel like I was Cleopatra in my past life
People tried to count me out
They clearly couldn’t add right
I might not know everything, but bitch
I know that’s right!

Clique of bad bitches with me, it’s gon’ be a good night
My niggas ain’t in movies, but they always seem to act right
Turn a grown man into a baby with this night night
He gon’ make me call a plumber if he got that bad pipe

I- I might break the internet this week
C- See, these bitches ain’t fuckin’ with me
Y- Why you bitch always in my bidness
ICY, the type of bad bitch you never killin’
Never

I mix that yak with kombucha
Got good karma and good Kama Sutra
Photographers, all up in my face, loving me
Binoculars, I’m lookin’ all around for who can fuck with me
None.
Tie my shoes up, I’m goin’ on a run
I could pull your nigga with no makeup and a bun
My **** homeboys said bitch don’t leave no crumbs!

Wait, I think I heard something
Oh it’s just them bitches at the bottom who ain’t worth nothin’!
I can’t hear nothin’, sittin’ pretty at the top
Get my phone, yea, time to call the shots
My residency poppin’, pre -gamin’ out in Vegas
At the Usher show, singin’, there goes my baby
Two thousand, that’s what’s worth these nails
A bitch paid for fake reports on my first week sales
I just got a jumbo, double flap, bag from Chanel
And I’m grade A, but haters wanna see me fail

[It’s in me, not on me, I’m married to the game]

For real, huh, but fuck it, let me take my time
Like the DMV, I make you niggas wait in line
Look at my vibe and my spirit, ain’t no takin’ mine (Nope)
Made millions and I still got plenty more to make
I got the whole fuckin’ world on my shoulder blades
My last EP was like you hoes, just a throwaway

I took shit over before it’s time to run it back
If it’s a race around these hoes, shit, I’m runnin’ laps
Got a new condo on London, and got London on the Track

Ay, yeah, I’m poppin’ big shit
And ‘bout my business, investin’ all these riches
But I need a foot massage, I’m tired of stepping on you bitches for real

And I’m back full throttle

I know yall bitches wish I would go model but damn
Girl, the mood board is back
I know y’all glam teams miss me
I ain’t even mad
Copy and paste hoe
I’m the inspiration
Pretty Bitch Music

Elvenking - Ethel (2024) // Official Lyric Video // AFM Records

All good things come in twos, right? After the Venom cover "Prime Evil", ELVENKING deliver another bonus track from the "Reader of the Runes - Rapture" era called "Ethel". And this time it's their own unreleased song! With the usual folky and hypnotizing sounds and the characteristic voice of singer Damna, the band sails into calmer waters with "Ethel". Highly sophisticated and enchanted as ever - "Ethel" is a great addition to a walk in the woods.

Lyrics:
Adrift between the pure innocence
And the wuthering waves of needed defence
She has come to enlighten November dusks
She has come, oh Ethel, the nymphs with her basked

The leaves foretold she’d come in a whirl
The twigs of trees
Twitched and twirled
She has come to heighten our poor sentiments
She has come, oh Luna, ethereal descent

Within the heart of a mid-summer night
You are drumming the rhythm
The dance of time
Within the arms of a gentle wind
You are wavering forever in the midst of a dream
Wohoo

Forged into the branches of oaks
Cladded with Ivy tunic of gold
Like a stardust fall
A gift from the skies
A pure soul sent in a world full of lies

Within the heart of a mid-summer night
You are drumming the rhythm
The dance of time
Within the arms of a gentle wind
You are wavering forever in the midst of a dream

Within the heart of a mid-summer night
You are drumming the rhythm
The dance of time
Within the arms of a gentle wind
You are wavering forever in the midst of a dream

► “Forgotten Kings” Lyrics:
The chained-up body is rotting in a prison
Frostbite, skin turning black as it falls from the limbs
Ancient gods sentenced for eternity
Crooked judge, a thousand years spent in isolation
Abandoned and trapped, hidden from the sight of the world
Sharpened stones are grinding into the skin

The iron mask is pushing rusty spikes into the face
Blackened vultures circling, purple blood runs down the chin
Crush me, burn me, deliver me from pain
A crown of thorns decorating the skull

The purple blood runs down the chin
Thin air poisoning my curse ridden helpless mind
Eternal circle, every day is living hell in this world
False idols perishing to the masses
Filled up with haughtiness and pride
Degenerate and viciousness
The cries of pain howled through the hall
They get drunken with power, again and again

Serve your sentence, shackled to a mountain summit
As the sky will break open
Kneel before the graveside of forgotten kings
Shiver to the power of forgotten kings
Of forgotten kings

Wine tastes like salty water
Bread tastes like rotten flesh
As the sun and the moon rise and set
Eagles nourish from my guts
Pecking their beaks in my flesh
A river of blood streaming down the glaciers
Hands go numb and fingers lost
Never-ending torment
Runes are carved into the crumbling stone below my feet
Read the words, bite my tongue, spitting blood upon the snow
Bow my head, icy hail
Please lord take my hand and save my soul

Rot in hell
As they announce the final judgement
Verdict was spoken by the gods
Hammer has fallen
Embrace Armageddon
My hollowed soul died in the face of the holy mother

Serve your sentence, shackled to a mountain summit
As the sky will break open
Kneel before the graveside of forgotten kings
Shiver to the power of forgotten kings
Of forgotten kings

Mental Cruelty's reign of darkness is just getting started.
