► LYRICS
Oh baby you’re gorgeous
Love everything about you
Baby you’re gorgeous
Gorgeous
Most people don’t understand it
Baby you’re gorgeous
And I can’t build a life without you
You so pretty with no makeup on I had to make a song cause you’re
gorgeous
All them other girls faking it all
You’re on my mind how you take up the time
We in Florence
She grew up in Corpus
Now the boat on the ocean I don’t know where the shore is
I sat on the beach just looking at starfish I found peace under palm
trees stormin
We watching sunset on jets
She let me confess my stress
We pull up flex cause we blessed
Lets hit the crib and have sex
Gorgeous
I Love everything about you
Baby you’re gorgeous
Baby you’re gorgeous
Most people don’t understand it
Baby you’re gorgeous
And I can’t build a life without you
Hairs changing colors
Eyes changing Colors
Vibin
When I wake up Ima dive in it like Poseidon
How the fuck you fena break up with me on a island
Your hair taking 50mins
Polished
Your nails did
But I just saw you in a bonnet
Your head good
And you smart that was college
Out the hood
When you sober you be on it
Gorgeous
Love everything about you
Baby you’re gorgeous
Baby you’re gorgeous
Most people don’t understand it
Baby you’re gorgeous
And I can’t build a life without you
Fairy princess trying print certificates
Like always
I was so hung over but I’m lit again
Like always
Gossip is ruling in the court
That’s impossible
Why you trying to move to New York
Fairy princess trying print certificates
Always
I was so hung over but I’m lit again
Like always
Gossip is ruling in the court
You’re a tree hugger
What the fuck you doing in New York
Baby you’re gorgeous
Love everything about you
Baby you’re gorgeous…
Beauty from a whole nother planet
Baby you’re gorgeous
Most people don’t understand it
Baby you’re gorgeous
And I can’t build a life without you

Letra/Lyrics:
Y aunque me niega
Siempre siempre me dice que sí.
Le tiro el mensaje y me contesta
En cinco estoy allí
Yo soy la que mando
Yo me monto y digo dale ahí.
Cachi cachi,
Estoy fumando mucho hashi
Estoy tan alante que ninguna puede
catch me;
Siempre vuelvo a casa
Senda perra, senda Lassie

Ils diraient “assez”, ils diraient “abandonnez”
Si ces murs avaient une voix
Ils diraient

Lyrics:

[CHORUS]
I’m a soldier
I’m a soldier, I’m a soldier
I’m a soldier
(I’m the one who they call when the times get hard)
Yeah
I’m a soldier,
I’m a soldier, I’m a soldier
(When times get hard, I’m who they call)
I’m a soldier
(When my backs against the wall I don’t break and I won’t fall)
I’m a soldier

Dax:

I know how it feels to be caught in the rain going to war in your brain
when depression is staring you
right in the face and anxieties
grabbing you making you shake
but there’s people depending on you
to be great
so you hide all the feelings
and push them away
It’s too hard trying to mix it all with the pain I’m drinking to cool off
and it’s all in my veins
I’m making these new songs
to move on and restrain
from grabbing a sawed off
and going to cock it and aim
at these nuanced influenced people
who shame the role that a man has to play as a husband a father a brother a son
who is serve ’n’ protecting his families name
They laugh in your face when you try to explain or express then tell you they love you without any loyalty, patience, or basic respect then expect you to smile every day while it eats at your mind and your soul
And your flesh and you work and you wither away till the day that you can’t and you’re broken and nothing is left and you’re old and you can’t even

[CHORUS]

Tom MacDonald:

My pronouns are he/ him/ his
My my job is to feed these kids
Be strong, keep feelings within
My Pappa taught me to protect the weak, a man ain’t what he got a man is what he gives
And when gives it all and it still ain’t enough then he’s the one to blame and no one gives a shit
Never leave a man behind
We all crack and break within the hands of time
I got axe to grind
With anybody tryna identify as a guy if they chromosomes ain’t XY
You will never understand, what it’s like for a man, gotta fight with your hands, wanna cry but you can’t, if it’s right for the fam, you will tighten your pants, provide and romance, you would die whereyou stand
Gotta be the bigger man when there’s problems
Get judged by the money in your wallet
It’s our fault, let’s be honest
We built the world that labelled us toxic
Gotta lead and teach and keep the peace
And fight the fires and be police
When a man gets tired he don’t lay down to sleep
He take all the heat
Don’t complain or retreat
It’s a cold world and it’s hard times and our children inherit the land
If you think that being a boy is just picking a pronoun, you should try being Dad
You could build all the houses and fix all the cars and work till it’s breaking your back
But the hardest job world?
Being a man

I’m a soldier
I’m a soldier, I’m a soldier
(When times get hard, I’m who they call)
I’m a soldier
(I’m the one who they call when the times get hard)
When my backs against the wall I don’t break and I won’t fall
I’m a soldier
(I go to war for my dogs)
I’m a soldier, I’m a soldier
I’m a soldier
(I’m a give you my all just don’t break my heart)
I’m a soldier I’m a soldier
I’m a soldier

[CHORUS]

Dax:

Battling feelings I can’t even show
weight of the world on my shoulders
is crushing me people around me
they don’t even know we
I put on this cape, then go save everybody while I’m being shattered
and all of my bones take on the pressure
of being the hero who saves
but has no one help with his own
Demons inside that try to eat him alive
I’m going insane and when I’m out my mind
I look at stars and talk to God in the sky
I wait on his words, but I don’t get a reply.
I try to refrain from diving deep, so I
hold back tears that try to come
out my eyes in this world as a man
where we know we can’t cry
cause the people we love
look in us to confide so I’m
Silently screaming for help.
Life is a battle inside of these trenches, especially when fighting it all by yourself PTSD from the memories
people who left you for dead,
and then drag you through hell
leaving you shocked deep inside of a shell with stories you hate but nobody to tell
while you question God
if your soul you should sell.

[CHORUS]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you made it this deep you are a real one. TBH this is the most excited I've ever felt about a song. Thank you all for continuing to allow me to use my platform to make an IMPACT! All the support is appreciated and not taken for granted. I'm excited to go to WAR with this one! LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE and let's continue to spark minds and be the change we wish to see in the world. Much love!

Official Music Video dir. Takashi Ito | Crispy Skin adapts Takashi Ito's award-winning experimental short film Zone (1995)

"A film about a man without a face. His arms and legs bound with ropes, still without even a quiver in a white room. This man, enwrapped in wild delusions, is also a reconstruction of myself. A series of unusual scenes in this room that expresses what lies inside me. I tried to create a connection between memories, nightmares and violent images." - Takashi Ito

*Lyrics*
We call it
Something else
To disguise
Our memory
Do you recall?
The carpet shops?
Those little books
That help you make decisions

Am I the bad one?
Yep, yes I am

I couldn’t eat
Another thing
No more pages and pages of crispy skin

Am I the bad one?
Yep, yes I am
Thought it could change me, well here I am
Am I the bad one?
Yep, yes I am
Thought it could change me, well here I am

All those words
That i read
Do nothing
How I think
Selfishly
Crispy skin
Hit them once
Not again

Wide eyed
My first day
Your first day
How we’ve changed
I don’t wince
While i read
Tucked in bed
Whats wrong with me?
We keep them underground
We keep them on our page
We love their crispy skin
‘Cos it’s something that we crave
We keep them round the back
And we keep them on our page
We love their crispy skin
‘Cos it’s something that we crave
One hit right between eyes
It’s become so easy that’s no surprise
One hit right between the eyes
It’s become so easy to take a life

Am I the bad one?
Yeah, yes i am
Thought it could change me
Well here I am
Well here I am
Well here I am

All those words
That I read
Do nothing
How i think

The blood drips drips faster than you can think
The blood drips drips faster than you can think

Lyrics:

I know
Sometimes I’m hard to read between
The lines
But you know
Exactly what you mean to me
And I’m not perfect

I sit back and I watch
I put time into my craft all that time spent in a box, I need God
I been stressed, but I guess I ain’t stressed enough cause I ain’t bawl
Don’t beg me, cause if I start helpin’ you then I’ll be wrong
You aint take it how I took it, I took that one to the heart
I bulletproof my car but my gun still under my arm
If you ever catch me f***in’ with these b****es it’d be porn
Get a word out of my children cause they ain’t ask me to be born
I’m clutchin’ ya I keep ratchet
I never talk to police, I never tell ‘em what had happen
N***a ever play with me, he disappear I’m Carole Baskin
Ain’t never know about my problems, never tell ‘em if they ask me

I wake up in the morning and go get it so fast
And my legs still ashy, and my hair still nappy
I wake up in the morning and go get it so fast
That my drawers still baggy, I gotta make it happen

I know
Sometimes I’m hard to read between
The lines
But you know
Exactly what you mean to me
And I’m not perfect
But I hope that I’m worth it to you
And I’m not perfect
I hope that I’m worth it to you

And I ain’t perfect, I still f***
Still a get a n***a plucked
Still a tie a n***a up
Put his b**** ass in the trunk
And you better not go to jail ‘fore I get to you
Cause I’ll still get a n***a stuck
Put his b**** ass in a bunk
Yea, I’m that
Don’t get this s*** confused just cause I rap
Take one wrong post n**** that s*** be your hat, I don’t even care
Spent hundreds and thousands on these clothes I don’t even wear
Really think I won’t put a hundred of these thousands on your hair
And my b**** get out of line she’ll get slapped b**** I ain’t player
Still in the bity Never leave when its war, know i’ll be there
Still remember it got hard for a n***a you had left
I don't play, I’ll still put rod on a n***a, he get bailed

I know
Sometimes I’m hard to read between
The lines
But you know
Exactly what you mean to me
And I’m not perfect
But I hope that I’m worth it to you
And I’m not perfect
I hope that I’m worth it to you

LYRICS:

Get right

Last time I was hanging by a thread
Trying to say I’m not but I’m in it over my head
That’s when I figured out where it led
Beginning to realize that you put me over the edge

Your truth’s not rigid, your rules aren’t fair
The dark’s too vivid, the light’s not there
I start to give in, but I can’t bear
To put it all behind, I run into it blind like

Two faced
Caught in the middle
Caught in the middle
Too late
Counting to zero
Counting to zero
You should have recognized
It’s too late for choosing sides
Two faced
Caught in the middle
Caught in the middle
Two faced

Last time you told me it wasn’t true
And pointing every finger at things that you didn’t do
So that’s why I kept missing the clues
And never realized that the one that did it was you

Your truth’s not rigid, your rules aren’t fair
The dark’s too vivid, the light’s not there
I start to give in, but I can’t bear
To put it all behind, I run into it blind like

Two faced
Caught in the middle
Caught in the middle
Too late
Counting to zero
Counting to zero
You should have recognized
It’s too late for choosing sides
Two faced
Caught in the middle
Caught in the middle
Two faced

I can’t hear myself think

Stop yelling at me

Lyrics
Echos flow, bury me
Sharpen your knife upon the stone
Cover me up before you go, so delicate the orchids grow
Buried under melted snow
So I call out your name and let it die slow
I pray that the rain will wash me up, so obvious I can’t let go
Carried in the ebb and flow
So cover up the well and leave
A gift to summon the spring
Imitation of a perfect soul
I shine a light into a thousand eyes all watching, waiting
Echos flow
Deafening
Calling up
Bury me
A fortress of eyes and gnashing teeth
In judgment they’re staring back at me
So obvious I can’t let go of where you buried me
So cover up the well and leave
A gift to summon the spring
Imitation of a perfect soul
I shine a light into a thousand eyes all watching, waiting
Echos flow
Deafening
Calling up
Bury me

So cover up the well and leave
A gift to summon the spring
Imitation of a perfect soul
I shine a light into a thousand eyes all watching (waiting)
Wait for me (echos flow)
A gift to summon the spring (deafening)
Imitation of a perfect soul (calling up)
I shine a light into a thousand eyes all watching, waiting (bury me)
My dreams are just a fantasy
And that is all they’ll ever be
I turn the lights out on a thousand eyes all watching, waiting

1981: The Year of Adam & The Ants ("Kings Of The Wild Frontier") | New British Canon Hotney 8 vistas • 2 años hace

Few 80s popstars were as eye-catching as Adam Ant. The dazzling calvary jacket, the eyeliner framing ice-blue eyes, the white warrior stripe applied just north of his nose. It's an image that defined MTV as much as Duran Duran’s yacht, A-Ha’s pencil outlines or Dire Straits’ blocky capitalists. But unlike their music television brethren, Adam Ant survived punk batterings, bandmate betrayal and press indifference to realise the marketing power of adding vibrant vision to his band’s pummelling pop sound. This is New British Canon, and this is the story of “Kings of The Wild Frontier”.
