Georgia On My Mind performed by James Brown & the JBs at the North Sea Jazz Festival 1981.
James Brown was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and bandleader. He was the creator of funk music and a major figure of 20th century popular music and dance. He is known as the ""Godfather of Soul”.
In a career that spanned six decades, he influenced the development of several music genres.
In 1981 he performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival with his band the JB's, Congress Centre, The Hague, The Netherlands.

This is the second performance of James Brown and his band, that he did during the North Sea Jazz Festival on 11 July 1981, held in the Congress center in The Hague.

This second concert is extraordinary and sees a James Brown that really gives everything to get the audience to their feet. The first concert that we published on 5 October 2017 which was recorded by AVRO Television earlier that 11th July 1981 saw a lame audience that did not know how to react. In this fantastic video we see what James Brown could do with any audience. Also this concert has a different tracklisting including a sensational 'It's A Man's World' in which he pays tribute to great artists who died such as Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and especially to John Lennon, who died some 6 months earlier.
The concert's encore is a raving rendition of 'Sex Machine'.

Masters At Work is the house/garage production and remix team of "Little" Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez. They first worked together using the name, which had been given to them by mutual friend, Todd Terry (who recorded several tracks under that name in the 1980s), in 1990. Cousin to Eric Vega, popular event creator and promoter in New York City.
The duo has also produced music together under the names MAW, KenLou, Sole Fusion, and Nuyorican Soul.

Their Nuyorican Soul project had the duo working extensively with real (as opposed to sampled or synthesized) musicians, in a variety of styles including Latin, disco, jazz, and more. Musicians who took part in this project include Vincent Montana Jr., Roy Ayers, George Benson, Jocelyn Brown, Tito Puente, and members of the Salsoul Orchestra. The self-titled album released under the name Nuyorican Soul in 1996 included original tracks as well as cover versions of songs by the performers with which the duo was working, such as "Sweet Tears" (Roy Ayers), and "Runaway," originally sung by Loleatta Holloway with the Salsoul Orchestra, here sung by India and featuring musicians from the original recording of 1977.

MAW has a vast history as remixers, having reproduced tracks for various acts both inside and outside the world of dance music. Some of the artists remixed by the two producers include Michael Jackson, Madonna, Donna Summer, Gus Gus, Jody Watley, Janet Jackson, Jamiroquai, Earth Wind & Fire, and Stephanie Mills.
