Ice Cube Tried To Warn You

Ice Cube, a famous rapper, actor, and producer, recently went viral after posting multiple videos and appearing on certain shows, with a focus on exposing Hollywood. He’s tired of the industry and the games they play.

Hollywood is a place some people look up to. Especially those who are inspired to become an artist, actor, rapper, singer, or something else in the entertainment industry. We see the money, cars, clothes, and fame. But you must know that all of it comes with a price.

Ice Cube seems to be one of the most recent celebrities to speak up about the darker side of things. This famous rapper has come forward and said he is not part of the “crowd” in Hollywood and also talks a bit about politics, specifically mentioning a contract with what he refers to as Black America. Let’s dig a little deeper into Ice Cube, his life, and how things have come to where they are today.

💥𝘿𝙊𝙆𝙆𝙀𝙉 – 𝙁𝙪𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 the new single! 💥 Taken from the new album 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏 out 27 October. Available to pre-order now here: https://lnk.to/DokkenHeavenComesDown
#dokken #fugitive #heavencomesdown

An unapologetic celebration of everything Dokken do best, yet now through a wiser and richer lens, Heaven Comes Down, the 13th studio album from the legendary American rockers, will be released on October 27, 2023 (Silver Lining Music).

“The long anticipated new Dokken album, ‘Heaven Comes Down’, is finally done and the first single is titled ‘Fugitive’!” declares Don Dokken. “The inspiration for the lyrics came from what seems to me to be an uncertain world these days. It’s an up-tempo Rokker as are many on the album. I don't know what the future holds for our world, so I decided to take a step back and watch it all unfold… Yes, I guess I've become like many these days a fugitive from life. Hence the title!”

“The song rocks and the lyrics are self-explanatory,” continues Don, “like many songs I've written, it came to me late at night. Inspiration and pure stream of consciousness have always been the best formula for me when composing. It has that classic Dokken sound… A great song to blast when driving down the highway.”

Video directed by Chris Eyre (Dark Winds, Smoke Signals) at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Video by Tom Strickfaden.

You want to rock? Sink your teeth into ‘Fugitive’, which rides some shimmering guitar work courtesy of 20+ year member Jon Levin, and if you want ballads, head on over to ‘I’ll Never Give Up’, hanging on that Coliseum chorus, Levin laying down a landmark solo. The pattern of Heaven Comes Down never falters in delivering the goods on both sides of the fence. ‘Just Like A Rose’ brings the Pacific Coast Highway to desert plains with its smooth, effortlessly-driven gears, and ‘Saving Grace’ carries a mystical malevolence. But ‘Santa Fe’ is perhaps the most revealing with Don Dokken opening up with what amounts to a ‘life-moment biography’: a spartan acoustic arrangement allowing the rich yet road-driven vocals to frame what might well prove to be the defining moment of Dokken’s career.

Mixed by Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Joe Bonamassa) and produced by Bill Palmer and Don Dokken, fans will love it, neutrals will be wonderfully surprised by some of the ingredients within Heaven Comes Down. Heaven Comes Down will be released on CD Digipak, 12” Vinyl Album in Black and colour variants, digital formats and special D2C products and bundles. Available to pre-order from August 8th 2023 here: https://lnk.to/DokkenHeavenComesDown

Anticipation is a difficult thing to navigate. When something has been built up in the collective hearts and minds of the culture over a number of years, the prospect of actually living up to it is no easy task.

For starters, when we’re left in the dark, humans have a tendency to let their imaginations run rampant. Next up, there’s the fact that we are all susceptible to the marketing machine. And Finally, there’s the issue of our own social media echo chambers. Whether negative or positive, the likes of Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit means that our own snap judgments on a record can suddenly be reinforced and allow opinions to be cemented long before we’ve really given something ample time to be digested.

One album that definitely bore the brunt of each of these scenarios is Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

"Apache" by The Incredible Bongo Band is one of the most important samples in Hip Hop history. But it was all... kind of an accident.

Lyrics:

Only been a few hours, but it felt like days
Only been days, but it felt like months
I been gone for a year, only wrote like once
Life move fast when you doing what you want
I guess I'm doing what I want
Hope you doing what you want (what else?)
But what you want? (I don't know)

My new bitch look like Halle Berry
But she don't love me, she too scary
My old bitch fine like Jackie Brown
I don't wanna love her, she too down
Will you be my leading lady?
I want a contract, girl, no maybe
In the meantime (I guess I'm doing what I want)
Get some me-time (hope you doing what you want)

Maybe I don't love myself, I don't know
Leave me here, I'll fuck myself
See me in the mirror, I duck myself
I don't need much so fuck my wealth

Only been a few hours, but it felt like days
Only been days, but it felt like months
I been gone for a year, only wrote like once
Life move fast when you doing what you want
I guess I'm doing what I want (you don't gotta front when life's a water front)
Hope you doing what you want (what else?)
But what you want? (I don't know)
(You could play it loud?)

Crib by the beach like Ordell
No Beaumont, my killers don't tell
Château Marmont, grabbed the Louis off the shelf
Now my bitch addicted to Chanel
Will you be my leading lady?
I want a contract, girl, no maybe
In the meantime (I guess I'm doing what I want)
Get some me-time (I don't know)
(Hope you doing what you want)

My new bitch look like Halle Berry
But she don't love me, she too scary
My old bitch fine like Jackie Brown

The process of editing music videos is extremely creative and rewarding. It allows you to stray off the path of basic editing and really experiment with unique ideas.

I’ve been editing music videos for over 5 years and every time I get to sitting down and creating new effects, I lose myself in the work. But with every edit comes great responsibility...

You have to be able to work with artists and clients to meet their vision while also delivering top tier work. In this video I’ll be showing you guys my music video editing process. We’ll create effects and transitions, explore different editing packs and plugins, and streamline our workflow for maximum quality.

Recently, it came out in a Billboard article that several music execs at record labels are depressed because they're unsure of how to break new artists into the music industry. Ice Spice and Olivia Rodrigo were cited as the last big names to really break into the music industry, and I have several reasons why I think that is. A lot of music consumers think the stagnation of the music industry now is largely due to execs looking to apps like TikTok to sign new talent, and hoping their already viral music will do the heavy lifting. Artist development doesn't seem to be taken as seriously as it used to be, and in turn, it seems like the bar for big name performances is a lot lower. Aside from that, over the decades, artists and consumers alike have become privy to the fact that a lot of record labels and execs have taken advantage of artists, through means like 360 deals and other unfair contracts. For this reason, a lot of today's talented named would rather remain independent.

Darius Calls WAR on Keke Palmer After Usher Collab

So Keke Palmer’s baby daddy just ACCUSED Keke of disrespecting him AGAIN and opened up about how he feels about that
Now, Keke just dropped a song with Usher, but it looks like Darius is NOT a fan of it, because he just threw some very nasty shade at Keke for it, and he called her out for being a HYPOCRITE and a bad mom. It looks like things are not so good between them, but did Darius FINALLY dump her over this disrespect?
