SUMMONING THE LICH - RETURN TO THE SOIL (OFFICIAL VIDEO) Hotney 6 Streams • 2 years ago

ORDER HERE: https://lnk.to/STL

SUMMONING THE LICH return with the latest installment in their fantasy universe of technical death metal. The St. Louis, Missouri band’s forthcoming second album, Under the Reviled Throne, is set for release via Prosthetic Records on July 26. Following the events of their established world of Arrias on their debut album, United In Chaos, Under the Reviled Throne sees the next chapter of the Lich come to life through tales of isolationist kingdoms, malevolent mages, witch queens and cannibalistic armies hellbent on destruction.

Under the Reviled Throne captures the promise of the band's storytelling and musicianship that was so evident on their debut. Upping the stakes to dizzying heights, SUMMONING THE LICH offers plenty in the way of light among the shadowy figures that lurk within the Lich’s universe of malevolent chaos. All is not lost.

Music written/performed by Summoning The Lich

LYRICS:
"Fallen are the fools born of those who hath betrayed my order’s trust
They've shown their vile forms at last and I reduced them all to dust
But as I gaze upon this conquered burning land I am malcontent, for human kind shall surely rise again…
And so… we shall set forth to consume the world!
Spreading our blight til every light has been extinguished”
Disease famine and death; the Sin feast on their flesh
“We are the end!
The Age of Chaos begins!"

Set forth now to the east, The Unholy Army’s bound to his savage and sadistic pleasures.
A sea of monstrous beasts, from fallen human to the Sin

They ride to the Bastell shores. Through the wastes they consume their captors to sustain their essence,
when in an instant from vaporious forms the Coven swarms as the witch queen cries
"For what is your purpose?!"

"The Dark Unfurls!
Eternal night block light from the heavens and swallow the world
My Will to conquer now heard. The Sin have crushed the ranks of man and Rodor crumbled in my hand

The Dark Unfurls!
Eternal fright drive light from the humans, those vile worthless worms
We reunite them with the soil, a gift to those opposed to letting madness take control"

Return to the soil

"Bound to hatred we live and die, take your place at my side and together we can bring their demise You've suffered at the hands of man… when they're dead you are free claim rule over those lands yet again"
"But I'm aware that power always has a cost. What does your heart desire, vile one, to offer this to us?"
"I only wish to spread malevolence and grief, though your skills in spatial magick could be helpful to the siege"
"Ha!"

Disease famine and death
In Darkness they accept
“We are the end!
The Age of Chaos begins!"

We reunite them with the soil, a gift to those opposed to this madness!”

“More than Many, Never One” Lyrics:

“A thousand lieutenants before the month is out.
A thousand thousand by the start of the last winter.
None of them trapped by a name.”

“Legion”, the voice said!
Mighty enough to banish light
Call on tears!
On salty tears when strength and hope are lost
The Altar rail, so distant. Parables resound loud
For what’s lost and will never be, it’s time to cry

No, not again!
More than many, never one
Herd of pigs,
Five fingers mark of bastards

Schism of the blood, separated from God
Number Infinite is mocking Divine

He who calls himself with names of crime
Controls the herd of vile
Embodiment of the wind that whips mankind
The nothingness inside is mocking divine

Calling inside
No more hunger no more!
No more, thirst, no more!

Skeletal claws hold my hands on the wheel en route
Of seductive lies
My mind resounds with many names that I forgot my own one

Take your place among the living beings!
What he touched and what he tore screams now
In sealed chambers

Still never one, still with no name
“Legion”, the voice said!

More than Many, never One
Still with no name

Wind of Inferno is whipping the ship
But its cruel wrath knows the way
And soon there will be land, soon there will be blood
Those whom lust has fed will quench the empty space
Where my soul never was

The blossom needs her pollen
The moth emerges eating from her seeds
Your roots can tie you down
Tell you you’re not deserving
Imprisoned underground
Make sure it’s you those roots are serving
A memory intoxicated
Locked inside subconscious mind
Infant emerges born into its sleep
A memory intoxicated
Locked inside subconscious mind
The child believes his new reality
The child believes his new reality
Born sleeping
Your roots can tie you down
Tell you you’re not deserving
A prison underground
Make you it’s you they serve
No roots can hold you down
No roots can hold you down
No roots can hold you down
Make sure it’s you they’re serving
The blossom needs her pollen
The moth emerges eating from her seeds
A memory intoxicated
Locked inside subconscious mind
The child believes his new reality
The child believes his new reality
All the bodies are fuel for the fires
All the flesh is the food for the flames
All the bodies are fuel for the fires
All the flesh is the food for the flames

LYRICS:

You know it’s all over town
People see us around
We’re back with a new attitude
We’re tearing places apart
Coming straight for your heart
We’re still the boys from the old school
Such a monstrous sound
Can’t keep your feet on the ground
Into the pit, you mosh and groove
Oh yes, were Raising Fresh Hell
In case you can’t tell?
The dead is back with something new
Time! Moves so slow and then you’re gone
Thrash! The ultimate feel when you hear the song
Scream! From the top of your lungs as we go off
Blast! Right through the pit where you belong.
We’re on a mission can’t stop us now
The dead is coming to destroy your town
Raising…Fresh Hell - Raising…Fresh Hell
Raising…Fresh Hell - Raising…Fresh Hell
We’re on a mission can’t stop us now
The dead is coming to destroy your town
With all out fury breaking all the rules
Controlled chaos sets the mood
You know it’s all over town
People see us around
We’re back with a new attitude
We’re tearing places apart
Coming straight for your heart
We’re still boys from the old school
Such a monstrous sound
Can’t keep your feet on the ground
Into the pit, you mosh, and groove
Oh yes, were Raising Fresh Hell
In case you can’t tell?
The dead is back, and we’re going to take your life

Buzz LYRICS:
It’s the anticipation when the amps turn on
Just cables and crackle
It’s the first flicker of the neon sign
It’s the words stuck in your Adam’s apple
It’s a hand on the handle of the front door
It’s making eyes in the middle of the dance floor
I feel like hot shit, wanna make out
in your car in the lot of a drugstore
It’s a bumblebee on a blossom
The first coffee shop run in autumn
It’s that feeling, a propeller
The first line of a fucking bestseller
The song’s about to start (can you hear it?)
The door’s about to open (can you feel it?)
The flower’s about to fruit (can you see it?)
I’m about to fall for you
It’s the accidental touch when you don’t mean to
The thickest tension
It’s the millisecond freeze frame after good news
or an unexpected mention
It’s the big long bow before the show ends
The phone toss when it’s risky and you hit send
It’s feeling dizzy when you’re tipsy
Wondering why you’re so nervous ‘round a so-called “friend”
It’s goosebumps when you hear the drums
The running start before the big jump
It’s that feeling, so stellar
Bro, if you like her just go & fucking tell her
The song’s about to start (can you hear it?)
The door’s about to open (can you feel it?)
The flower’s about to fruit (can you see it?)
I’m about to fall for you
The song’s about to start (can you hear it?)
The door’s about to open (can you feel it?)
The flower’s about to fruit (can you see it?)
I’m about to fall for you
I’m about to fall for you
I’m about to fall for you
I’m about to fall for you
