[Verse 1]
I wanna fuck you slow with the lights on (Lights on, lights on, lights on)
You're the only one I've got my sights on (Sights on, sights on, sights on)
Type of sex you could never put a price on (Price on, price on, price on)
I'll take it off, you're the one I'll roll the dice on (Dice on, dice on, dice on)
And I just want a baby with the right one
(I just want a baby with the right—)
'Cause I could never be the one to hide one
(I could never be the one to hide—)

[Pre-Chorus]
And we lost a lot of things in the fire
So it took a year for me to find out (Find out, find out)

[Chorus]
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
Oh-oh (Oh-oh)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
I can't lose you, babe
Oh-oh (Yeah)

[Verse 2]
I'm tired of being home alone (Home alone)
I used to have a girl a day (Girl a day)
But I want you to stay (I want you to stay, hey)
You said you might be into girls (Into girls)
Said you're going through a phase (Through a phase)
Keeping your heart safe (Keepin' your heart safe, oh)
Well, baby, you can bring a friend (Bring a friend)
She can ride on top your face (Top your face)
While I fuck you straight (While I fuck you straight, yeah)

[Pre-Chorus]
And we lost a lot of things in the fire (Fire)
So it took a year for me to find out (Find out, find out)

[Chorus]
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
Oh-oh (Oh-oh, oh-oh)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
Oh-oh (Woah)

[Bridge]
I'm tired of being home alone
Used to have a girl a day (Girl a day)
But I want you to stay (I want you to stay, hey)

[Chorus]
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
Oh-oh (Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)
Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh (Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
I can't lose you, babe (I can't lose you, babe)
Oh-oh (Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)

Ed Sheeran - Old Phone (Official Music Video) Hotney 6 Visualizzazioni • 1 anno fa

"I wanted fans to all come to this special first pop up Old Phone pub gig to all be there for the same reason, and emotionally connected. I wanted everyone in that room to have felt the same feelings of nostalgia, longing, joy and sadness I had felt from going through my old phone. I asked all of them to submit a video, a photo or a message from their old phone that meant a lot to them to get into the gig that night, and we all shared in a night of music, dancing, laughing and tears. It was really magical, maybe my favourite music video I’ve ever made. Shout out to Emil Nava for making my dream happen, all the amazing people who built the Old Phone pub for one night only in Ipswich MA, and of course, all the wonderful people of Ipswich MA who made us feel so welcome that day. The music video is out now, enjoy. More to come x" - Ed

Old Phone Lyrics:

I found my old phone today
In a box that I had hidden away
Nostalgia trying to lead me astray
Maybe I’ll unwrite some wrongs

I charged the battery again
Combinations cause my passcode had changed
Opened up and saw familiar names
Now I wonder where they’ve gone

Conversations with my dead friends
Messages from all my exes
I kinda think that this was best left
In the past where it belongs

I feel an overwhelming sadness
Of all the friends I do not have left
Seeing how my family has fractured
Growing up and moving on

I found my old phone today
Arguments that I tried to keep at bay
The ones who loved me I just pushed them away
Couldn’t tell the difference from the leeches
My closed hand still holds some mates
But if I’m open it gets smaller day by day
I can’t tell if it is pleasure or pain
Trying to keep within my remit

Conversations with my dead friends
Messages from all my exes
I kinda think that this was best left
There in the past where it belongs

I feel an overwhelming sadness
Of all the friends I do not have left
Seeing how my family has fractured
Growing up and moving on

I found my old phone today
So full of love
Yet so full of hate
I put it back inside there from whence it came
Nothing good will come from regretting

Conversations with my dead friends
Messages from all my exes
I kinda think that this was best left
There in the past where it belongs

I feel an overwhelming sadness
Of all the friends I do not have left
Seeing how my family has fractured
Growing up and moving on

I found my old phone today
