Lyrics:
I got a chip on my shoulder
I got the blick on my waist
I check the time on my phone
I’ll put this mask on my face
Tell me that you’re wit’ it babe
Are you wit’ it babe?
Tell me that you’re wit’ it babe
‘Cause I’m wit’ it babe
I wear my pride on my sleeve
I’ve got my seed on my mind
If this shit don’t go as planned
Swear I won’t leave you behind
Tell me that you’re wit’ it babe
Are you wit’ it babe
Tell me that you’re wit’ it babe
Cause I’m wit’ it babe

I’ll ride for you
I’ll ride 4 u
I’ll ride 4u
Tell me that you’re wit’ it baby
‘Cause I’m wit’ it honey

I put two shots in the air
Tell everybody to drop
They hit the silent alarm
Just keep your eyes on that clock
I’ll watch them while you get it babe
[THE LOVE CANT BE SILENT WHEN THE SYSTEM ISN'T EQUAL]
YEA, Get it babe
No matter what
they call us
Lawless
Or new martyrs
(This is for all of the losses)
Break
They say god never gives
Any more than we can
Bear,
But,
How…
much can I loose without
changing who I am?
Yea, Yea
Give me what’s mine
Or we’re gonna take it take
Yea, Yea
Give me what’s mine…

Lyrics:

I don’t know
Where you’ve been
Cracked the code of feeling
We’re alone two silhouettes just touching skin
This is how it begins

Keep me awake till darkness
Turns into day here
I don’t care about time
Just give me your night
We’re making a painting
A candlestick
Or two faces
Put your heart into mine
Just give me your night

Lyrics:
I could sing Your Name for all my life
And still find more to love each time
Jesus be the Name ever on my lips
Sweeter every time that I call on it

There’s just something ‘bout Your Name
There’s just something ‘bout Your Name
There’s just something ‘bout Your Name
That makes me cry holy

There is no other name
There is no other name
There is no other name
Jesus You’re worthy

You have been the friend who never left
I won’t forget Your faithfulness
Jesus be the Name ever on my lips
Sweeter every time that I call on it

There’s just something ‘bout Your Name
There’s just something ‘bout Your Name
There’s just something ‘bout Your Name
That makes me cry holy

There is no other name
There is no other name
There is no other name
Jesus You’re worthy

Jesus Your Name is like the morning light
The one the darkness can’t deny
The resurrection and the life
Jesus

Jesus Your Name can save, Your Name can heal
Your Name can make the storm be still
You never fail, You never will
Jesus

Jesus the bread of life broken for us
The wounded and the worthy one
The first the last and soon to come
Jesus

Jesus the King who overwhelmed the grave
The Lord who will forever reign
The Name above all other names
Jesus

Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
That gets all the glory

Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
That gets all the glory

Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
That gets all the glory

Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
That gets all the glory

Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Jesus

Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Jesus

Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
That gets all the glory

Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
That gets all the glory

There’s healing in Your Name
There’s healing in Your Name
There’s healing in Your Name
It makes me cry holy

There’s freedom in Your Name
There’s freedom in Your Name
There’s freedom in Your Name
It makes me cry holy

Salvation in Your Name
Salvation in Your Name
Salvation in Your Name
It makes me cry holy

Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
Jesus be the Name
That gets all the glory

"Changes" out now: https://charlieputh.lnk.to/changes
Pre-order 'Whatever's Clever!' now: https://charlieputh.lnk.to/whateversclever

Lyrics:

VERSE 1
Lately there’s been something in the air
There’s been a lot of smaller talk
When we were younger we would share our fears
Now we’re afraid of being mocked
I still can hear you through all of the silence
Do you need any help calling like I did?

CHORUS
There’s been some changes in our life, oh
I can feel the distance
Space and time, has made everything different
Day and night, oh
Everything has changed and
I don’t know why

VERSE 2
I used to hear your voice inside my head
Now I forget what it sounds like
And all the things we used to leave unsaid
I wish they were said in hindsight
I still can hear you through all of the silence (all the silence)
Do you need any help calling like I did? (oh like I did)

CHORUS
There’s been some changes in our life, oh
I can feel the distance
Space and time, has made everything different (different)
Day and night, oh
Everything is changing
I don’t know why

BRIDGE
Maybe that’s (mm) just the way it is
No matter how matter how much you’re missing it
Sometimes the wind blows in different new directions and lessons are happenin’
Maybe that’s (mm) just the way it is
No matter how matter how much you’re missing it
No love lost, I know it’s innocent
It’s what you make of it

CHORUS
There’s been some changes (changes) in our life, oh
I can feel the distance (distance)
Space and time (time), has made everything different (different)
Day and night, oh
Everything is changing (changing)
I don’t know why (why)
There’s been some changes (changes) in our life, oh
I can feel the distance (distance)
Space and time (time), has made everything different (different)
Day and night, oh
Everything is changing (changing)
I don’t know why

Silvana Estrada: Tiny Desk Concert Hotney 4 Vues • 1 an depuis

This Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, NPR Music celebrates artists from all corners of Latinidad with an 'El Tiny' takeover.

Anamaria Sayre | October 15, 2025
Silvana Estrada was born and raised in Veracruz, a seaside state known for its breathtaking ocean views and son jarocho, one of Mexico's most storied folk styles. But against the backdrop of its beauty, there's pain. Estrada confronts these realities in her art; she brings audiences to tears with her powerful, yet elegant vocals, but never leaves them without hope.

In the five years I've come to work — and become friends — with Estrada, I've discovered the magnetic, joyful and wiggly person beneath who drives the richness of her music. I have seen Estrada perform in concert halls, hometown historic venues, televised broadcasts and Grammy showcases. But none of those have ever rivaled a small space with just her voice and a cuatro venezolano, surrounded by five or six people... until her stunning debut behind the Tiny Desk.

Vendrán Suaves Lluvias, from which this set is drawn, is her most honest work, yet. In the making of this album, she lost a friend and parts of herself — "And me, who is no more than an ocean of doubts," she croons on "Como un Pájaro." But, as is sometimes the case of artistic creation in capable hands, her voice finds a way to bend wounds to her will and become whole.

Golden - HUNTR/X ('Kpop Demon Hunters') - Madilyn Bailey Acoustic Cover Version Hotney 11 Vues • 1 an depuis

I’m so excited to share my cover of “GOLDEN” — the powerful anthem from KPop Demon Hunters! Originally performed by Huntr/X and voiced by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, this cinematic song instantly captured my heart.

As soon as I heard the emotion and energy in “GOLDEN”, I knew I had to create my own version — blending my voice and style while staying true to the original’s powerful spirit.
If you love KPop, anime soundtracks, or emotional cinematic music, this one’s for you. ✨💛

Lyrics:
I was a ghost, I was alone, hah
Eoduwojin apgilsoge (Ah)
Given the throne, I didn't know how to believe
I was the queen that I'm meant to be
I lived two lives, tried to play both sides
But I couldn't find my own place
Called a problem child 'cause I got too wild
But now that's how I'm getting paid, kkeuteopsi on stage

I'm done hiding, now I'm shining like I'm born to be
We're dreaming hard, we came so far, now I believe

We're goin' up, up, up, it's our moment
You know together we're glowin'
Gonna be, gonna be golden
Oh, up, up, up with our voices
Yeongwonhi kkaejil su eomneun
Gonna be, gonna be golden

Oh, I'm done hidin' now I'm shinin' like I'm born to be
Oh, our time, no fears, no lies
That's who we're born to be

Waited so long to break these walls down
To wake up and feel like me
Put these patterns all in the past now
And finally live like the girl they all see

No more hiding, I'll be shining like I'm born to be
'Cause we are hunters, voices strong, and I know I believe

We're goin' up, up, up, it's our moment
You know together we're glowing
Gonna be, gonna be golden
Oh, up, up, up, with our voices
Yeongwonhi kkaejil su eomneun
Gonna be, gonna be golden

Oh, I'm done hidin', now I'm shining like I'm born to be
Oh, our time, no fears, no lies
That's who we're born to be

You know we're gonna be, gonna be golden
We're gonna be, gonna be
Born to be, born to be glowin'
Balge binnaneun uri
You know that it's our time, no fears, no lies
That's who we're born to be
