Lyrics:
Would you cry
If I called you, my angel?
Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you
One more time

My pretty little poison
I’ll taste you in the morning
And drink you in the evening
Then we’ll go out stealin’
I won’t rest till I find you
I won’t rest till I light you
One last time

Take it when you want it
Never when you need it
Said you want a show girl
Call you from the road girl
Need a bit of lovin’
Tell me all your problems
One last time

Would you cry
If I called you, my angel?
Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you
One more time

Could you fly?
My only angel
Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave
Far behind

You say you wanna keep me
Round your little finger
But baby I’m a runner
Baby I’m a gunner
I don’t know where you’ll find me
But I hope that you’ll find me one last time

Along a desert road
I tried to let you go
I had to face the facts
That I should let you know
That after all this time
The show will still go on
But I need a little something
To remember you by

Would you cry
If I called you, my angel?
Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave
One last time

Could you fly?
My only angel
Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you
Far behind

'WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!' Lyrics:

Baby, where the hell is my husband
And what’s taking him so long,
to find, me
Oh baby

Where the hell is my lover
Getting down with another
(Oooh yeah)
Tell him if you see him baby
If you see him tell him
He should holler

Verse 1

Why is this beautiful man
Waiting for me to get old
Why he already testing my patience

I only fear he taking time
with other women that ain’t me
while I’ve been reviewing applications

Wait til I get my hands on him
Ima tell him off too
for how long he kept me waiting

Anticipating
Praying to Lord
to give him to my loving arms
and despite my frustrations

Pre

He must need me
completely
how my heart yearns for him
is he far away
is okay

This man is testing me
Uh huh uh huh
Help me help me help Lord
I need you to tell me

Chorus

Baby, where the hell is my husband
And what’s taking him so long,
to find me
Oh baby

Where the hell is my lover
Getting down with another
(Oooh yeah)
Tell him if you see him baby
If you see him tell him
He should holler

Verse 2

I’m doing lonely acrobatics
Unzipping my dress
at 2am and I’m tired of living like this

He must be out there getting ready
Tryna fix up his tie
Uh huh huh huh hello
this where your wife is

Wait ‘til I get your heart going
Ima turn it up too
For how much I’m bout to love ya

No one above ya
Praying to the Lord
To hurry hurry you along
Baby I intend to rush ya

Pre

He must need me
completely
how my heart yearns for him
is he far away
is okay

This man is testing me
Uh huh uh huh
Help me help me help Lord
I need you to tell me

Chorus

Baby, where the hell is my husband
And what’s taking him so long,
to find, me
Oh baby

Where the hell is my lover
Getting down with another
(Oooh yeah)
Tell him if you see him baby
If you see him tell him
He should holler

Bridge

Tuh tuh tuh tuh
Tell him I’m mm
Tell him I’m mm with the mm mm mm
Tell I’m kind
Tell him I’m 5’5
Tell him I got brown eyes
and a growing fear
that if he doesn’t find me now
I’m going to die alone so can he

Uh uh uh uh uh
Hurry up here sir
Uh uh uh uh
Uh huh uh huh uh huh huh
I want it want it want it want it want it

I would like a ring
I would like a ring
I would like a diamond ring
On my wedding finger
I would like a big and shiny diamond
That I could wave around
and talk and talk about it
and when the day is here
Forgive me God
That I could ever doubt it

Until death I do I do I do I
Is he about it, bout it, bout it
This man
Is testing me
Uh huh uh huh uh
help me help me help me Lord
I need you to tell me

Last Chorus

Baby,
Where the hell is my husband
And what’s taking him so long
To find me,
Oh baby
Where the hell is my lover
Getting down with another
(oooh yeah)
Tell him that my grandma said it
Tell him grandma said it

YOUR HUSBAND IS COMING

Outro

I would like a ring
I would like a ring
I would like a diamond ring on my wedding finger I would like a big and shiny
(woo)
Diamond (yes), diamond (yes), diamond (yes), diamond (yes), diamond (yes) ohhh

Mile Phakphum - DAWN (“Shine” Original Soundtrack) [Official Music Video] Hotney 13 Visualizzazioni • 1 anno fa

“Dawn” conveys the emotions of pain, struggle, and hope experienced by multiple characters.
In this episode, each of them faces a moment of darkness, yearning for a ray of hope.

This song is performed by Mile Phakphum, the lead actor himself. With his distinctive voice and deep understanding of the character, Mile delivers a profoundly moving interpretation.

On the songwriting and production side, Robert Grace teams up with a crew of seasoned professionals — Joe Henderson, John Nathaniel, and Kris Gehringer — to craft a song that's polished, powerful, and emotionally resonant.

Musically, the song carries the nostalgic essence of 1960s ballads, blended with the warmth of acoustic guitar. This combination further amplifies the sense of sorrow and emotional depth within the piece.

Lyrics:

Oh the road stretches far through shadows and stone
Where the whispers of change are etched in bone
How many tears must water the ground
Before the seeds of hope are finally found

Oh the echoes rise but they’re never heard
They want silence, we want worth
Oh how many live will they take away
Before the dawn brings a better day

Oh the pain carves a path through valleys so deep
Where memories lie and promises sleep
Oh the night plays tune, a sorrowful song
Yet somewhere beyond, waits the light of the dawn

Oh the echoes rise but they’re never heard
They want silence, we want worth
Oh how many live will they take away
Before the dawn brings a better day

Brings a better day
Hey, hey, hey
Brings a better day
Hey, hey
How many lives will they take away
Before the Dawn brings a better day

SOEN - 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐋 🔥The first single from our new album 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 coming January 16 - pre-order now: https://lnk.to/SoenReliance
#soen #primal #reliance
🎥 Freakshot Film

SOEN announce their forthcoming new studio album Reliance, set for release on January 16th via Silver Lining Music. With Reliance, their seventh studio album, the Swedish progressive metal powerhouse, spearheaded by Joel Ekelöf (vocals) and Martin Lopez (drums), continue to find incredible new pathways into the spatial areas between light and dark, loud and calm, heavy and soothing. And with its seamless march across deeply human emotional terrain, SOEN’s music continues to explore the human mind, heart, and soul with a visionary duty of care, plus an extra edge of heavy.

With Lars Enok Åhlund (keyboards & guitar), Cody Lee Ford (guitar), and Stefan Stenberg (bass) standing shoulder to shoulder with Ekelöf and Lopez, the lush continual evolution of SOEN’s sound soars.

The first single, ‘Primal’, released today, is a provoking, barrel-chested roar detailing the existential fight between the human spirit and our current world, with Ekelöf’s incredible vocals leading the heavy charge.

Founding member and drummer Martin Lopez comments: “Primal’ is a song that came from a place of frustration with the world we’re living in. The corruption, the division and the suffocating grip that technology has on all of us. It’s heavy and straight to the point, built on riffs and raw energy, but it also opens up into a chorus that feels hopeful, like a reminder that light can still break through the dark.”

“For us, it’s about more than just aggression,” continues Ekelöf. “It’s about encouraging people to find that fire again, to reconnect with passion, and to take those steps out of the darkness together.”

Reliance will be released on January 16th 2025, via Silver Lining Music. Available as a CD, 12” Vinyl Album in Black and colour variants, digital formats and special D2C products and bundles. For pre-orders, visit: https://lnk.to/SoenReliance

PRIMAL
We are confined
Within our minds
Fully deprived
On their kindness we rely
And all they have
Is what we built
With our own hands

But now we throw away the key
‘Cause no one can withstand the thriving misery
We live surrounded by our enemies
Immersed into hypocrisy

‘Cause life will break you down
And every change we make is faced with apathy
They force control by means of policy
Commanding with dishonesty

You’ll never be
You’ll never be someone else
Free the war in yourself
Leaving behind what is hollow
Into the dark
We’ll find the light
We are breaking every chain

We move along
Like everyone
Guarding our own
Mindless scrolling through our phones
They tell us what
We need to buy
To catch their eye

Only defeat will make you see
They passively divide us through technology
Turn us indifferent to atrocity
And violent pornography

Corruption and offense
They’re parasites dependent on the working class
They build their thrones on our broken backs
And feed us the remaining scraps

Leaving behind what is hollow
We are breaking every chain
They build their thrones on our broken backs

Leaving behind what is hollow
Into the dark we’ll find the light
We are breaking every chain

You’ll never be
You’ll never be someone else
Free the war in yourself
Leaving behind what is hollow
Into the dark
We’ll find the light
We are breaking every chain

You’ll never be
You’ll never be one of them
Keep your passion untamed

Show us the way and we’ll follow
Into the light far from the dark
We are breaking every chain
