Here's what some icons have to say about the book!!!

Ice-T: "Respect to Soren Baker for documenting the history of gangster rap in these pages. Some hate it. Some love it. But you can’t deny its brutal, hardcore honesty."

The D.O.C.: "History has so often been written by the victors, that you very rarely ever get the real story behind anything. So it’s really important to hear from the people that were there, which is exactly what Soren Baker shares in this book. He writes about it and he’s honest about it."

Xzibit: "Hip-hop changed the world. Gangster rap changed the narrative, and then changed the world again. Soren Baker has been a very integral part of documenting hip-hop on the West Coast for as long as I can remember. I don’t think anybody is more qualified to write this book."

Leslie “Big Lez” Segar: "Soren Baker has changed the perspective of gangster rap by putting his pen to paper. He has given hip-hop power, proven its potential, and made non-believers contemplate all of its possibilities. The truth in his writing leaves no stone unturned, something he's done again with The History of Gangster Rap. Soren doesn’t just champion hip-hop. He also reveals its flaws and its truths."

Lyrics:
I don’t really have friends don’t go out on weekends
I don’t have a lover left to hold
Friday nights I’m alone sat at the piano
Thinking bout the ex I shouldn’t call

You say, now I see, you busy
Out and living the wildest of dreams
With new friends, new cities
But now inside my heart wants to scream

Where's the love that I knew we ignited
Darkness in me and I learned how to hide it
Made you believe that I’m happier like this
No, no

I don’t really have friends don’t go out on weekends
I don’t have a lover left to hold
Friday night I’m alone sat at the piano
Thinking bout the ex I shouldn’t call
Sipping on storms in teacups
You’re thinking I’m drunk in some pub
with people that I hardly know
When I’m so f**king lonely
No one really knows me
You are still a heart I want to hold

You turn, say to me,
You’re happy, and you’re actually seeing somebody
And you’re both so proud of me
But inside my heart starts to scream

Where is the love that I know we ignited
Fire in me and I learned how to light it
Made you believe I was happier like this
No, no

I don’t really have friends don’t go out on weekends
I don’t have a lover left to hold
Friday night I’m alone sat at the piano
Thinking bout the ex I shouldn’t call
Sipping on storms in teacups
You’re thinking I’m drunk in some pub
with people that I hardly know
When I’m so f**king lonely
No one really knows me
You are still a heart I want to hold

We had a love that never died
You were my world and on my side
From bright as day to dark as night
You look at me and ask me why

I don’t really have friends don’t go out on weekends
I don’t have a lover left to hold
Friday nights I’m alone sat at the piano
Thinking bout the love we used to know
Sipping on storms in teacups
Thinking I’m drunk in some pub with people that I hardly know
When I’m so f**king lonely
No one really knows me
You are still a heart I want, heart I want to hold

THE ULTIMATE TRAVIS SCOTT COLLECTION Hotney 4 Streams • 4 years ago

VOLUME 2 OUT NOW https://youtu.be/3YkI5o5Vs0c

It all started summer 2019 when I made Blame. Now 2 years later I've made over 70 remixes of Travis Scott's classic songs. There are 5 parts in this project, and all the songs in each part somewhat coincide with each other and tell a story. Comment your favorite remix I've made these last 2 years (PROBABLY MISSING ONE OR 2 REMIXES ON HERE TOO - Missing "To the Mo", "Same Way"). Best way to listen all the way through is if you're on a psychedelic. Help me get signed to Cactus Jack
