The Rolling Stones - Live à l’O2 Arena (Concert complet - Londres 25 Novembre 2012)
Le 25 Novembre 2012, à l’O2 Arena de Londres (Royaume-Uni), les Rolling Stones fêtaient leur 50ème anniversaire. Pour marquer l’évènement du "50 & Counting Tour", des personnalités importantes étaient invitées.
Ce soir-là, en plus de Mary J. Blige et Jeff Beck, Les Rolling Stones ont invité deux anciens membres.
Mick Taylor, guitariste emblématique des Stones de entre 1969 et 1974,
Et Bill Wyman, bassiste initial des Rolling Stones depuis la création du groupe en 1962, jusqu’en 1993.
Ces deux anciens membres des Stones joueront lors des deux shows de Londres le 25 et 29 Novembre 2012.
Aujourd’hui je vous propose de revivre le show du 25 Novembre 2012, à l’O2 Arena de Londres (Royaume-Uni), en images, grâce aux multiples enregistrements des personnes présentes au concert.
Le son provient directement d’un enregistrement de la table de mixage, que j’ai légèrement retravaillé.

He had the swagger of a hip hop rapper and the vocal prowess of an R&B balladeer. Montell Jordan burst onto the entertainment scene in the mid ‘90s and immediately rose to the top of the charts while also using his attention-grabbing height and good looks to create the image of a single and ready to mingle Hollywood heartthrob. He wasn’t single though he was very married and, before long, that false public image would lead to causing his wife immense pain and put their relationship in jeopardy. Creative differences with his label, money issues and the realization that his choices weren’t serving him well forced Montell to re-examine everything and ultimately decide to take his life in a more meaningful and spiritual direction.

Amerigo Gazaway’s *Soul Mates* series continues the theme of his previous work in creating collaborations that never were. On the series’ latest installment, Amerigo unites Brooklyn rapper Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) and soul legend Marvin Gaye for a dream collaboration aptly titled “Yasiin Gaye”. Building the album's foundation from deconstructed samples of Gaye’s Motown classics, Gazaway re-purposes the instrumentation into new productions within a similar framework.

Carefully weaving Bey’s tangled raps and Gaye’s soulful vocals over his new arrangements, the producer delivers a quality much closer to an authentic collaboration than a lukewarm "mashup" album.
