🎤 A La Antigüita Letra:
Qué bonita se ve
Ya miró que la miré
Y me sonrió
Le gusté y me gustó
Está como pa mí
Como pa que viva aquí
En mi corazón y hacerla feliz
Es cuestión que quiera
Y le entrego todo
Yo sabré cuidarla, mi amor
Quererla a mi modo
Pero a la antigüita, bonita
A la antigüita
Serenatas, besos
Flores y cartitas
Tengo mucho amor, mi vida, pa tirar pa arriba
Pero a la antigüita, bonita
A la antigüita
Usted no es opción
Es un privilegio
Si me da el honor de tenerla
Yo voy a quererla, bonita
Pero a la antigüita
Y puro Calibre 50, chiquitita
Es cuestión que quiera
Y le entrego todo
Yo sabré cuidarla, mi amor
Quererla a mi modo
Pero a la antigüita, bonita
A la antigüita
Serenatas, besos
Flores y cartitas
Tengo mucho amor mi vida, pa tirar pa arriba
Pero a la antigüita, bonita
A la antigüita
Usted no es opción
Es un privilegio
Si me da el honor de tenerla
Yo voy a quererla, bonita
Pero a la antigüita

In 2021, the Tiny Desk x globalFEST series was created to promote international music discovery. For the last three years, artists from around the globe have performed Tiny Desk (home) concerts from their respective countries, but for the first time this year, artists performed at the Tiny Desk at NPR's headquarters.
Felix Contreras | April 3, 2024
The first impression I get from watching the Spanish duo Tarta Relena at the Tiny Desk is a reminder that the human voice may be mankind's oldest musical instrument.
Even more so when you consider that the five languages they sing here includes not just Spanish, Greek and their native Catalan, but also Latin and classical Greek, evoking images of lyricists and vocalists from centuries past.
Starting initially as an a capella project in 2016, vocalists Helena Ros and Marta Torella eventually added ambient-styled electronics to cushion their uncommonly matched voices. The duo's first number, "Me Yelassan," is in Greek, so be sure to activate the translation option on the video to fully appreciate the power of the performance with lyrics read almost like a Zen koan meditation on rebirth and eternity.
Stay tuned in to those translations, because the magic of this performance is in losing yourself in the harmonies and timeless poetic lyrics. In fact, the lyrics of the song "Safo" are taken from a poem written by the ancient Greek poet Sappho, and includes the prophetic line: "Someone will remember us, I say even in another time." How often do we get a chance to consider our place in history set to such stunning vocals?

British rapper Aitch recently sat down with Shirley Ju for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off by speaking about growing up and not seeing himself as a rapper, adding that he fell into it because it satisfied him more than anything else. From there, Aitch spoke about dropping out of school and blowing up two years later, and signing a deal with Capitol Records. During the conversation, Aitch shared his thoughts on the UK rap scene, working with Ed Sheeran and AJ Tracey, and he also revealed his first big purchases. To hear more, including his top 5 UK rappers of all time, hit the full interview above.

#Mooski #CountingTime
Woke up this morning to a text
I woke up to an empty bed
That empty glass of wine got thoughts flying through my head
Knowing that this time she was way more than upset
I call her phone no answer
I tried to call her phone she didn’t pick up
Lord knows, I love her, got a lot of love to give her
I sent it in a text it didn’t deliver, woah
Now I’m wondering,
(did you do this by yourself)
Or was it one of them
(Or your friends in your ear)
Like be done with him
(Or is there someone else)
And are you under him
Cuz I Counting all the time (Time every tic)
You know you on my mind
So are you coming home (baby come home)
Cuz I been Sitting here looking at the clock on the wall
Sitting here looking at the clock analog
Waiting on you to walk(Through the door)
And I'm sitting here looking at the clock on the wall
Sitting here drinking henny straight out the bottle
Hoping that you walk (thru the door)Ti-iii-ime
All she ever wanted was mine
Blinded by my greed, I failed to read all of the signs
Love is all she need forget the Dior and the Diamonds Deep off in mind
Thinking about the thousand times
She said she would leave but this time she wasn't lying
This time she was ready
And she didn’t regret it
She left our picture but she didn’t forget it
Got me counting every tic watching the door
Praying I still got your heart and soul
Girl are you alone, or in somebody’s arms
