Lyrics:
I’m not afraid of monsters
But I’m afraid of myself

You promised me heaven
But this feels like hell
I can’t get sleep, so I just tell myself
Can’t get to heaven
So I’ll stay in hell
I can’t find peace, sometimes I hate this realm

I’d like to think that I
Could be somebody else
If I were a star, I'd shoot away so far
Sometimes I find it hard to recognise myself
Like I’m an alien, spaceship, crash, burn it

I’m not afraid of monsters
But I’m afraid of myself
Stuck in an illusion
Crying for help
I’m not afraid of monsters
But I’m afraid of myself
Looking in the mirror
I tell myself
Monsters, I’m not afraid

I’m not afraid of monsters
Monsters inside of me
I'm not afraid

Promise me heaven
But this feels like hell
I’m in the deep, another rainy spell
I can’t get to heaven
So I stay in hell
Round and round on this carousel

I’d like to think that I
Could be somebody else
If I were a star, I'd shoot away so far
Out of my head
I need time to digest
I need to tell myself
To breathe

I’m not afraid of monsters
But I’m afraid of myself
Stuck in an illusion
Crying for help
I’m not afraid of monsters
But I’m afraid of myself
Looking in the mirror
I tell myself
Monsters, I’m not afraid

I'm not afraid of monsters
Monsters inside of me
I'm not afraid
Monsters
I'm not afraid of monsters
Monsters inside of me
I'm not afraid
Breathe

I’m not afraid of monsters
But I’m afraid of myself
Stuck in an illusion
Crying for help
I’m not afraid of monsters
But I’m afraid of myself
Looking in the mirror
I tell myself
Monsters, I’m not afraid

"2 The Moon" Lyrics

Part of me wants to leave
Take me to the car
(Mr. Worldwide)
part of me wants to drink
(Ne-Yo)
Take me to the bar
All of me wants to be
Anywhere you are
(Afrojack)

Till the moon
Turns in to the sun
So tonight lets have some fun
Until the moon
Turns into the sun
Take my hand
Away we'll run
Until the moon
Turns into the sun

Oh, oh, oh
Until the moon
Turns into the sun
Oh oh oh
Until the moon
Turns into the sun

Eeeeeeeyoooooo
It's only one life so
Live it twice
Got to meet Earth Wind and Fire
What a night
Sounds like a lie but
It's the truth What a life
I'm married to the hustle
What a wife
My DNA is MIA
I'm a grown man
I ain't here to play
So don't talk about it
Be about it
Let's party all night
Dale Mami

Part of me wants to leave
Take me to the car
Part of me wants to drink
Take me to the bar
All of me wants to be
anywhere you are
Til the moon turns in to the sun

So tonight lets have some fun
Until the moon
Turns into the sun
Take my hand
Away we'll run
Until the moon
Turns into the sun

Oh, oh, oh
Until the moon
Turns into the sun
Oh, oh, oh
Until the moon
Turns into the sun

Eeeeeeeyoooooo
Reporting live
From a solar eclipse
That'd be me
Performing Thank God and Jimmy Buffet
That's me
With Jon Bon Jovi
Yeah that's me
PIT c'est la vie
Met her at the bar
And after c'est la vi
Naw I'm not a player
But I like to
You know me
Don't talk about it
Be about it
Let's party all night
Dale Mami

Part of me wants to leave
Take me to the car
Part of me wants to drink
Take me to the bar
All of me wants to be
Anywhere you are

Till the moon
Turns in to the sun
So tonight
Lets have some fun
Until the moon
Turns into the sun
Take my hand
Away we'll run
Until the moon
Turns into the sun
Oh, oh, oh
Until the moon
Turns into the sun
Oh, oh, oh
Until the moon
Turns into the sun

Until the moon
Turns into the sun
Until the moon
Turns into the sun

Shirley Bassey - Get The Party Started (Official Video) Hotney 11 Vues • 2 années depuis

DSB - The Ultimate Diva.. Discover & Download More @ http://www.lsbrecords.com

Music video for Get The Party Started by Dame Shirley Bassey. This incredible recording can be found on the Get The Party Started album, which is out now. A new single with some fabulous dance mixes by NorthxNWest, Flip N Fill and Fugitive, as well as this music video is now also available.

Get The Party Started was produced by Catherine Feeney, Nikki Lamborn (Never The Bride), Bob Kraushaar and Chuck Norman (NorthxNWest) with backing vocals by Rietta Austin, Margo Buchanan, Nikki Lamborn and Catherine Feeney. The music video was produced by Hera King and directed by Harvey and Carolyn (Crossroads Films).

This song was written by Linda Perry and originally recorded by Pink. Shirley sang it for the M&S Christmas TV ad, filmed in a spy movie style, and featured models Lizzy Jagger, Erin O'Connor, Laura Bailey, Noemie Lenoir and Twiggy as undercover agents on a secret mission to attend an exclusive DSB performance at a glamorous Christmas party.

It's difficult to know where to begin when it comes to describing Dame Shirley's incredible career which has spanned over 50 years. Having just celebrated her 70th birthday and a top ten UK album DSB proves age is no barrier for creating great music.

The original Welsh Diva and one of Wales' greatest musical exports, she stands tall alongside fellow Welsh singers Charlotte Church, Katherine Jenkins, Tom Jones, Cerys Matthews, Dorothy Squires, Bryn Terfel and Bonnie Tyler to name but a few.

During her career Shirley has also collaborated with Swiss band Yello on The Rhythm Divine. She sang with Chris Rea on his Ferrari inspired film, La Passione, and probably most famously with The Propellerheads whose international club hit History Repeating propelled her into the spotlight. It featured on the soundtrack to the movie There's Something About Mary starring Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz and was the music behind a Jaguar car ad.

Shirley is the only singer to have recorded more than one James Bond Theme. She recorded three! Applauded by John Barry, Sean Connery and David Arnold, her hit records Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever ranked as the two best Bond themes ever in a recent poll, where she comfortably beat fellow Bond singers such as Tina Turner, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Matt Monro, Gladys Knight, Sheryl Crow, Lulu and Sheena Easton to the top spots. Casino Royale star Daniel Craig recently suggested DSB should record the next theme - after hearing The Living Tree you can't help but see he's got a point!

In recent years Shirley's recording of Diamonds Are Forever was sampled by hip-hop star Kanye West.

DSB has performed duets with acts such as Neil Diamond, Andy Williams, Alain Delon, Michael Ball, Bryn Terfel, Charles Aznavour, Jack Jones, Robert Goulet and Eydie Gorme and shared a stage with Ray Charles and Liza Minnelli on a successful tour.

In an episode of American Idol (the US equivalent to The X-Factor) contestants Jordin Sparks, Lakisha Jones and Melinda Doolittle all chose Shirley Bassey hits to impress judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul. Chris Sligh said "Shirley Bassey rocks hard core" and presenter Ryan Seacrest proclaimed that it was Dame Shirley Bassey songs that ruled the night.

Lyrics

Some things are long forgotten
Some things were never said
We were on one endless road
But I had a wandering heart

I said we were opposite lovers
Said it from the beginning
You kept trying to prove me wrong
Said you’d always see it through
And I know that I ran you down
So you ran away with your heart

But just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you

I know it’s hard to hear it
And it may never be enough
But don’t take it out on me now
'Cause I blame it all on myself

And I had a fear of forgiveness
Said it from the beginning
I was too proud to say I was wrong
Said you’d always see me through
All that time is gone, no more fearing control
I’m ready for the both of us now

So just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
Just know that I want you back
(Just know that I want you)
Just know that I want you back
(Just know that I want you)
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
(Just know that I want you back, baby)

Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you

Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you back
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
Just know that I want you back
(Just know that I want you)
Just know that I want you back
(Just know that I want you)
Just know that I want you
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you
(Just know that I want you back, baby)
(Just know that I want you)
(Just know that I want you back, baby)
I’ll take the fall and the fault in us
I’ll give you all the love I never gave before I left you

About Bad Boy Entertainment:

In 1993, Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, also known as Diddy, launched Bad Boy Records. Nobody could have
imagined the impact the label would have on pop culture. As a subsidiary of the larger Bad Boy
Entertainment, the label became best known for its signature sound of streetwise hip-hop soul and the
ghetto fabulousness that radiated like precious jewels from its very name. Bad Boy was designed for
those who aspired higher, but also wanted to party until the break of dawn. Puffy had seen life from
both sides of the class divide and, with his groove-heavy music, worked hard to merge the two. There is
no better visual embodiment of this merger than the groundbreaking videos that were in heavy rotation
on BET and MTV and now on YouTube.

The Bad Boy Entertainment channel is the official YouTube home of iconic music videos from Puff
Daddy, Craig Mack, Faith Evans, 112, Total, Mase, Yung Joc, Cassie, Danity Kane, and the rest of the Bad
Boy Family, and your destination for some of the biggest 90s and 00s hip-hop hits of all time like Craig
Mack’s “Flava In Your Ear (Remix)”, the Notorious B.I.G. tribute “I’ll Be Missing You” by Puff Daddy feat.
Faith Evans and 112, and Cassie – “Me & U”.
